The Ohio State Buckeyes look to end their Big Ten regular season with a win tonight when they play the Indiana Hoosiers. They are tied for second place in the conference with the Purdue Boilermakers. The game tips off at 7pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on Fox Sports One. Ohio State is favored by 2 points and the over/under is 140.
It has been a great year for the 16th ranked Buckeyes and they will be a dangerous team to play in the NCAA Tournament. They were not getting much attention before the conference play started but have been turning heads of late and are looking tough. Bates-Diop has led the team in scoring this year and has been one of the biggest surprises in the Big 10. Tate, Jackson, and Wesson are all averaging double figures and round out a well balanced team. Their 9 man rotation gives the Buckeyes great depth that will serve them well over the next month.

This season has been a challenging one for the Indiana Hoosiers. They are 16-13 and their chances to be an at large team in March Madness took a huge hit when they lost to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Tuesday. They had won 4 games in a row before that and sit at 9-8 in the Big Ten. They will definitely need to win tonight to hold on to the slim chance of making the big dance as well as win multiple games in the Big Ten Tournament. Senior guard Robert Johnson will be honored at Senior Night tonight, capping a great career for the Hoosiers.

These two teams met earlier this year. The Buckeyes took care of business at home and won 71-56 back on January 30th. Jae’Sean Tate led the way with 16 points that night and Bates-Diop added 13. Tonight’s game should be an exciting one as both teams have plenty to play for. Expect a fast pace and high scoring game into the 70’s.
