I don't ever do any gambling/betting so maybe I'm just a noob.
It's so the game is even. If the worst team in the NFL was playing the best team.. They would get slottered so that's why we need spread!
Right so by using the spread then the better gets to decide if the better team can still win even with the spread and then its gambling again!
