LA Chargers: London move rumours false says NFL team's owner Dean Spanos
Los Angeles Chargers owner Dean Spanos says he has no intention of moving the franchise to London despite reports of a potential relocation.
The Chargers, who moved to Los Angeles in 2017, were linked with a move to London on Tuesday.
The NFL staged four games in London this season and has played 28 games in the city since 2007.
"We're not going to London," said Spanos, 69. "We're not going anywhere. We're playing in Los Angeles."
He added: "No consideration has been given to the Chargers playing anywhere other than Los Angeles at the new stadium in Hollywood Park next season and beyond.
"There have been no discussions of any kind between the NFL and the Chargers regarding moving to London. Both our office and the Chargers are entirely focused on the success of the team in Los Angeles."
The Chargers moved to Los Angeles for the 2017 season and play at Dignity Health Sports Park.
They will move to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood next season, which will also be the home of the Los Angeles Rams.

Lewis Hamilton secured his sixth Formula 1 drivers' championship title with a typically strong, gutsy drive to second, just missing out on the win in Austin.
Many have said that this title hasn't been as good as some others - notably his last two, or his first one back in 2008 - but actually, looking deeper at the season, this might just have been the best of the lot.
There are different types of races in Formula 1 - boring ones; Grands Prix with intrigue until the end; and absolute belters where you just don't know who is going to win. There have been all three this season.
The races most would class as "boring" - which this year would be China, Barcelona and France - Hamilton held the lead out of the first corner.
Cam Newton: Carolina Panthers quarterback out for season with foot injury
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a foot injury.
Newton has not featured since the Panthers' week two defeat by Tampa Bay Buccaneers in September having initially suffered the injury during pre-season.
Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said it was "impossible" to put a timescale on his recovery.
"Nobody is more frustrated with that fact than Cam," said Hurney.
"He's one of the fiercest competitors I've been around during my 20-plus years in the league.
"He saw two foot specialists last week who agreed that he should continue that path prescribed by the team's medical staff, and that it likely will take significant time for the injury to fully heal."
Kyle Allen will remain the team's starting quarterback in Newton's absence, starting with Sunday's visit to the Green Bay Packers.
The Panthers (5-3) are second in the NFC South, behind the New Orleans Saints (7-1).
John Collins: Atlanta Hawks forward given 25-game drugs ban
Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins has been suspended for 25 games for breaching the NBA's anti-doping rules.
The 22-year-old tested positive for Peptide-2, a drug that increases the release of a growth hormone.
Collins told ESPN he plans to appeal against the suspension, which is set to begin when the Hawks face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
"I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed in myself for putting all of us in this position," said Collins.
"I have always been incredibly careful about what I put in my body, but I took a supplement which, unbeknownst to me, had been contaminated with an illegal component."
Collins is the third NBA player to be given a 25-game ban for breaching drug regulations this season.
Phoenix Suns centre Deandre Ayton was suspended last month after testing positive for a diuretic.
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer drawn together in same group at ATP Finals in London
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have been drawn in the same group at the ATP Finals tournament, which starts on Sunday at London's O2 Arena.
Five-time winner Djokovic and six-time winner Federer are drawn alongside Dominic Thiem and Matteo Berrettini.
World number one Rafael Nadal is in a group with Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev.
Earlier on Tuesday Nadal said he plans to compete in London, despite pulling out of last week's Paris Masters.
The Spaniard said an MRI scan had confirmed a "small" abdominal injury, which forced him to withdraw from the semi-finals in Paris.
Despite pulling out, Nadal overtook Djokovic at the top of the rankings this week but could lose the position as year-end number one in London.
If the Spaniard does not play or fails to win a round-robin match at the ATP Finals, Djokovic will take top spot if he wins two group-stage matches and reaches the final.
Djokovic will also finish the year as number one if he wins the tournament and Nadal does not reach the semi-finals.
