Coin Roll Hunting (CRH) Does anyone do this regularly??? :D

Video Credit; from the SBSS series, Silver Bullet, Silver Shield. It's an interview with a man who basically got 2,000 ozT Silver for free in one year. Please share your experiences below, I will tell some of mine here!

I do CRH pretty much all the time, if you count all types of coins and methods. I get nickel rolls, (all get saved); penny rolls (I save the copper cents); and on occasion other rolls but I have not done halves very much. Dimes were pretty weak, and quarters were non-existent. Pretty much as expected. I've purchased all of my 40% Ikes on eBay, basically for SPOT. So that is a good deal IMO. Hard to find anything at spot these days.

The nickels rarely have the 35% examples, but I have found a few, 2 or 3. I stack nickels as a SHTF item, they are worth their face value NOW, basically, and would be more during an economic crisis. We have a jar for hardship donations at church, and at least one LOL (little old lady) throws in her pocket change. I purchase the change, rounding it UP, it makes her donation worth at least $5 when she might have only put in $2 to $3. If it is close to or over $5 I throw in $10, and so forth. I figure I am saving for the future and doing good at the same time. I used to waste more than that on snacks and junk, now it serves a purpose.

I should really hit the CRH hard once I am laid off again, which should be mid-November or so. We'll see about that then!

Interesting. Gresham's Law will, eventually, drive the silver coins, out of the banks vault, too.

Gresham's Law (Bad money drives out the Good Money, out of circulation, that is) can also be REVERSED. If TRUMP goes ahead and backs the U$D with GOLD, as Jim Rickards suggests will happen, then the non-backed fiat of all countries will be chased out of circulation by Good Money!
But I have seen little movement that direction. Bix Weir (roadtoroota.com) is saying that he believes the Good Guys are going to use the cryptos to usher in the required changes to the monetary system. IMO it will still be necessary to back the U$D with Gold, but that will be much easier to use crypto to make the changes, I believe.

This is one thing people don't realize is saving nickels, hear a lot about dime and quarters but not as much about nickels, great article.

I've done this since I read about J. Kyle Bass ordering $1 million in Nickels from his bank :D
He did that during the height of the "Chinese Base Metals GRAB" which peaked in 2008. The Chinese were building up Beijing for the
08 Olympics, and Copper hit around $4.25/pound. Nickel was over $10 iirc. A US Nickel was actually worth 8¢ at that time, making Mr. Bass' investment worth $1.6 Million :D

Asking tellers is a great way too, the banks are required to exchange any rare coins received for Face Value ONLY, by law... :D
