Important Information from @Phelimint on the Design

We also want to make everyone aware that we will be working with 2d dies for this project to help keep the costs down. That just means we will be unable to replicate any bust, faces, or layer images onto the rounds which would require a 3d die. We have some examples here of some amazingly detailed work stuck with 2d dies to help guide the designers. You can see the full catalog from Chautauqua silver works here for more examples (they are the industry leaders in the 2d format and work with the same mint we are) https://www.phelimint.com/blogs/mint-reviews/chautauqua-silver-works. For any other questions regarding this please reach out the team at Pheli Mint, by email [email protected] or discord at phelimint #3565.

Here are a few images of designs and as you can see, you can go into significant detail

Update Regarding @Phelimint

If you want to pay for your 20+ coin order in CAD please email Phelimint at [email protected]. They will also accept international orders that are not being paid in cryptocurrency, but please do this through Transferwise (referral code-for €500 free transfer https://transferwise.com/u/phillipb50) . Hopefully, they are able to accept Bitcoin orders through the site in the coming weeks for smaller orders. For those wanting to make Credit Card/Paypal payments this should be available next week. (note: credit card payments will carry an additional fee)

If you have any questions regarding payment or anything else you can contact me on Steemit.Chat (sevinwilson) or on Discord (sevinwilson#5606). For those with neither Steemit.Chat or Discord, you can email me at [email protected].

Just got to ask, how did you come up with 54 hours?

This post will payout then! At about 5pm on 9/6!

Ok, I guess I should have seen that. Thanks buddy,

@phelimint @sevinwilson

Here is my submission :)

I wanted to capture what Steemit means to me and what it has brought to my life, which is a sense of belonging to a greater community. People (Fish) of all shapes and sizes moving together as a community towards a better future.

"Community" is in 4 different languages:
Latin
French
Tagalog
English

I couldn't decide on the final variation so I'm posting all 4 variations that I like. Imagine the black as the bit that is embossed on a coin.

I hope you guys like it :)

PS. PSD Available of course.

I really like your design! It is very creative and shows the global nature of The steem community! I think the rest of the group will like this design quite a lot! Thanks for your entry!

Thanks @sevinwilson ❤ I hope they do!

I love this one! It captures the community and international aspect of it!

I like yours. I think it will "mint" well. You got my vote.

This ones my fav so far! I'm a nut for animal designed coins. If anyone wants I have 100 I can show? lol

I'm excited to see all the great designs. We just want to make everyone aware to try to consider this as a black and white project. As you can see from the coin images all details will be struck to the same depth, thus having a struck area or raised area. As you can see there can be some fine lines or text within the raised area and there can certainly be some fine details. Here are a few more examples of coins created with a 2d die and please don't hesitate to reach out to use further for any guidance. Full size images here

Hey Sevin. Can you edit this please, to reflect the new comp closing date of the sixth? It may also be worth tagging #drawing as there are a lot of talented steemers who might have missed the announcement.
Really appreciate you spearheading this, mate.
Very excited to get me some silver.

This has been changed in the title as well as the body! Do you think this will suffice?

Sorry Sevin. To clarify, this post you resteemed says designs can be submitted until the 6th of September, but this post still has entries closing on the 3rd.

This sounds fun! I will cook something up later today :)

Thank you! I can't wait to see it!

Quick question; which font did you use for the back of the coin? :)

Just Calibri!

Okay! Good to know!

Hello sevinwilson, how do I go about buying the silver steemit rounds? (Is the minimum 20?) Thanks

No it's not too late to buy. They will be available on the mints website for purchase in the next week or so. There is no minimum order but the shipping with be about the same price for 1-20 coins.

I am fairly new, where is the mint's website? Or link? Thank you

Ha! That's perfect! I hope this wins! Something nice about a simple silver round design with lots of surface area! @ironshield

Hahahaha thats the one. Flip it over, whats she got on the backside?

Definitely my favourite nice and simple but instantly recognizable !
