RE: Final Sale for the 1oz Silver Steem Rounds - Last Batch of 500 go on sale tomorrow! Be sure to act quickly!

I don't think the last 500 will take more than a hour to sell.
This could really be a huge product, maybe even a line of its own.
Different awards, and achievements made from different metals and compositions.
Maybe for next years design go with a ordering system like the U.S. Mint as in you can place your order for the years coin until a certain date and then no more. But then you might struggle to sell 1500 that way, I know its tough.
Hate to see people that use steem and really want one and miss out because dealers scoop up the last of them, but that is the coin business. And don't anyone think its easy to deal in the coin market, especially a mint, the margins are slim and great volume like this coin doesn't pop up often.
Wouldn't be surprised to hear Phelimint just breaks even if they are lucky and never expected the steemit coin would be so successful. Probably much more work than they bargained for. But now they have a rocket on their hands, hope they control it well. I'm certainly rooting for them.

Hey man, you certainly nailed your thoughts on the coin business. It'certainly one of low margins for the mints and often the secondary sellers do have the the upper hand. My concern is that some savvy resellers may scoop up large volumes tomorrow and quick but there is no way to prevent that.

Our business has always just been one of passion for us, we get to make unique coins we would love to collect and you better believe we are buying many personally, it's just so much fun to be sharing this will everyone here on steemit. Personally I am in love with that platform and spend a great deal of time here.

We do hope that there is interest in other related coin products down the line and we will have the obverse dies available for other projects.

As for the workload you were also very right and it put our whole website and business in a bit of a pressure cooker, but made us figure somethings out and make some decisions we have been sitting on. There are still many glitches to iron out. I am certainly looking forward to the break once this project is completed...lol.

Thanks for the well wishes and support and we really appreciate it. Hopefully we will have many exciting silver projects in the years to come (not only steem related). We do have a lot of exciting and fun plans down the road.

Could you limit purchase quantities? Businesses do that all the time. @ironshield

Are you guys able to make a small sized Steemit coin that could be suitable to make into a lapel pin?

Got two but am going to be doing a post as to why! Thanks for the awesome round and the wonderful content!

It may take a little longer, but very well may sell out quickly! This being the initial year was just a test to see how it would work! We figured we would sell about 1,000, but didn't think the demand would be there for more. It is tough to gauge demand because there is so much quality content on Steem(it) it is hard for every post to be read. Thankfully for Hashtags it helps to improve visibility.

When I created this coin initially I planned on doing all of the work myself and working directly with a larger mint to get this done. After finding Phil and Eli I thought it would be a great idea to go with a local Steemian. This has given them some good publicity and a few people have mentioned about using them to possibly get some coins done.
Your idea about the US mint style ordering is a good one and we will definitely consider it in the future!
