Application for Steem Representative 2025
Dear Steemit Team,
APPLICATION FOR THE ROLE OF A COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE FOR NIGERIA
I am writing to express my interest in the Country Representative position on the steemit platform as earlier announced here. My longevity on the platform has proven excellence, professional, experienced and growth in all ramifications.
I recognize that the country representative role is crucial for the growth and development of Steemit, especially with the recent influx of Steemians from different countries. While there are many Steemians in Nigeria, I think a large portion of the population is still unaware of Steemit.
I would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness among Nigerians through various outreach methods. This role would allow me to contribute to the Steemit ecosystem, which I am passionate about, and it would inspire me to enhance my charitable efforts in Nigeria, further promoting Steemit.
My blog has documented my journey on the Steemit platform since 2020 till date. The day I signed up on steemit, I wasn't so sure of how far I would go, but looking back to yesterday has been my bedrock to keep up with the journey. I have been successful in planning, establishing and implementing some guidelines, advices and rules to some communities on the platform.
I learned interpersonal relationship, as the platform requires it in our communication level. I was so determined to learning lots of things and today on the platform, I am a moderator who not only host contests, verify post, but also give personal advice to individuals.
In the field of promotion, I have taken the lead right from the days of "Steemit Road Show". I have actively supported users through quality comments, upvotes, and others. Working with various communities as a moderator and being a one time curator, gave me an insight of how to create and offer long-term solutions to users specific needs and difficulties.
To show how much I love the growth of others, part of my steem has been delegated to some communities, I have not powered down my resources because I have the knowledge of growth in me and outside the steemit platform, I collaborate with some Nigerian moderators to guide new users on the ways to grow.
With all these activities for the past 6 months, I have been able to build my reputation, my SP and voting CSI. I currently have;
• A reputation of 76.010
• A voting CSI of 8.2
• An SP of 12,766.80

• Create a balance on the steemit platform where hazards like plagiarism, Ai, bot using and account farming are not found among Nigerians.
• Have a breakdown report of active users from Nigeria and initiate visual meetings that would benefit all.
• Develop learning platforms for users to keep learning and growing.
I would start by saying that being a Representative, requires some skills and without these skills in place one would not carry out their duty accordingly. I believe a good Rep should;
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. I have over the years learned these skills as it is a vital key on this platform and I have been using my skills in terms of commenting and helping users to find their feet on the platform. There is no platform without communication and steemit isn't an exception.
• Experienced in planning and community engagement. I am an expert in planning and establishing some rules and guidelines which today helps some communities in their engagements. As a moderator, I help in contest organizing and other activities which brings about engagements in the various communities.
• Certified promoter. It is of no doubt that I am a perfect fit for this. I have been collectively and individually involved over the years and still, in promoting steemit in my country through various mediums.
• Self motivated. I have always received accolades from various users about how I am their motivation. I am a pack of motivation and so I extend it to others around me.
• A deep understanding of the operation of the platform. I don't think I would be where I am today if this understanding weren't in place. I have learned the system and I totally have a clear picture of how things are done on the platform.
I am inspired by Steemit's vision that empowers people and tackles global issues. I look forward to using my skills and passion for development to support Steemit's mission.

Let's talk about dedication. You've dedicated yourself to working on this platform and I've seen your level of growth. The meetup we just came back from showed me a lot about you even though I wasn't physically present. You took the initiative to be a representative. If one is a leader on the outside, he or she can be a leader on the inside. You didn't allow your mistakes define you as we're imperfect. Instead, you kept pushing to become the best of yourself. What makes you fit this role?
