Maybe, maybe this is exactly what steem needs at the moment. New representatives and fresh enthusiasm. That afterthought of lowering the SP requirement was for people like you. I'm sure.
Having said that, if you are not selected, I know it still won't stop you from growing because people like you who are genuinely committed don't need a stamp to do good things for steem.
