RE: My Taylor Swift Mixtape of Life Lessons

in #steempress7 years ago

When I first heard Taylor Swift, I wasn't that impressed. That was when she was first getting popular. Then I started listening to the actual lyrics and I was blown away by what she was doing. I know she gets a lot of grief for not being the most technical singer, but she can craft a song like you would not believe. I think her album stands out to me as some of her best work. I got to see her on the 1989 tour and it was awesome. I am not as much a fan of her newer album, but I can still appreciate the artistry she put into it. I am happy to see that away from the new singles her personality hasn't seemed to changed the way her latest lyrics have. I think that speaks to her trying to say something new in a different way than she has in the past. The collaboration with Sugarland and award winning writing credits for Little Big Town still indicate she is the same old T-Swizzle!
