A beautiful coin, bestie! I always thought that the coat of arms of German old coins is a two-headed bird of some sort until @ronaldoavelino showed his collection of German coins. ... it is only one head.
Did you notice that silver coins come out better in photos with blue backgrounds. So I use blue most often. I also use black and brown or wood, but I think I prefer blue more.
Take care bestie 🥰🌺🤙and a ton of hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰
Sorry for replying so late had a rough long day. The older German stuff is much nicer then the new stuff
A lovely shiny coin. I'm always impressed with the older silver coins over the more contemporary German coins. The more modern German commemorative coins tend to be too ....artsy, abstract artsy. I have a few of them as examples as from my Father's collection.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned and a bit partial to mature distinguished looking bearded portraits.
I like the older stuff also, less is more.
A beautiful coin. What is it on the rim of the reverse, between the letters U and T?
Its a dent to the rim
Beautiful German Silver....excellent condition!! I believe you are spot on with AU55😀
Thanks. Im pretty conservative with my grading. Id rather guess under then over
Very true, and that's how I look at it too. "IF" I ever sold anything, others probably would grade lower .....🙃
A beautiful coin! Nice details as I especially like the coat of arms! Thank you for sharing.😎😎😊😎😎
Thanks
