Football over the years have become not just a national affair but an international affair.

Youths are so engrossed in this game that virtually every youth out there enjoy the game, either as a spectator or a player.

As part of the vision of the steemjet : global adoption of steem. I made a proposal for a football competition that is aimed at on boarding youths in the university through the game of football.

Plans are in advanced stage and the competition has promised to shake the entire University (Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike)

I should have made this post for sometime now, but I've been saddled by the preparations and stress of the competiton

We have printed the jerseys for this competitions and the teams are ready to get on the field to play.

The plan is to on board new steemians. We have currently been able to register some during the awareness period, and will be on course to register many this week

Expect a very busy 'introduceyourself' tag and steemjet too

Alot of people are already asking, what is steemit? What is steemjet

This is basically what we intended for this competition, for steem to be heard far and wide.

We're not there yet, but we are closer than we were yesterday.

Nature of the competiton

The first phase of the competition will include four departments in a faculty of the

university.

It'll be a knockout process where a team play a department, and the other, the other one, before qualifying for the final.

The final will comprise of the winners of the knockout stage.

The competition starts on Friday 30th and runs through Saturday 30th .

So much fun to come by. I'll be updating you guys with pictures and developments as time goes on.

Cash prices will be presented to the winners, runners up

The cash prices will serve as a boost and encouragement as to what STEEMIT AND STEEMJET can offer

Though The price of steem caused a dip in preparations but we were able to make out something even with the challenges.
