I’m so lost. I need help!!!

I’m desperately trying to get going on Steemit but I can’t figure out how to get anything into my wallet. I live in the US, I have a TronLink account and a Binance.US account but I can’t figure out how to get anything into my Steemit wallet? Can’t buy Steem or TRX on Binance.US. I tried to get a Poloniex account but it says that I can’t because of where I live. Please point me to a tutorial as I want to a part of Steemit. Thanks in advance.
