Hey Steemit, here's my entry for the Animal Portrait competition. Such a wonderful idea for a steemit category I'm excited for a weekly competition. Thanks @jamtaylor for coordinating this!

Love this photo and it's interesting to hear the story behind it too which is something the lens cannot capture. The patience/luck and sometimes risk taking of the photographer is often unheard. Steemit allows for the orignial author to tell the tale as well! Keep up the good work!

We just wondered past it, very lucky really. I must admit this was one out of ten shots as I was holding the camera at arms length, i know its got a mouth full but you cant take any chances!
