No bid limits are needed, just flag it due to "Disagreement on rewards".

Wrong approach. We're not responsible for the lack of control and missing quality management in vote trading. I don't just disagree on rewards here, I report abuse. That's a huge difference.

Welcome to steemit btw, just saw that you haven't published any blog posts in the network so far.

Flagging uses voting power. I hate wasting voting power on people doing shitty things, but I've had enough.

You mean, flagging wastes voting power for up-voting yourself?

You must be the same person.

LOL My vote is worth 9 cents. Yeah. I upvote myself to make 9 whole cents. That's me fighting and scratching to make much at all while people like this walk away with the reward pool.

I even upvoted you and I can't even counter @aidasfg7's flag.

But you want to capitalize on my post to make you money on your voting yourself! Good tactics, that’s what you ‘Bigot Society’ call it!

I SUPPORT YOU COMPLETELY.. WE NEED A PROPER WEALTH DISTRIBUTION, NOT REWARD POOL RAPING... PEOPLE ARE MAKING WAY TOO MUCH FOR POSTING JUST A PHOTO OR WRITING 2 LINES...

LOOK AT THIS:

And you capitalizing on it to vote for yourselves to make money! Your own ‘Tactics’ is being revealed!

I don't understand how bid limits could solve this problem. Wouldn't the abusers create more accounts to reach their targets then?

Introducing bidding limits would put large accounts at a disadvantage. We don't want anyone to have an unfair advantage, but putting someone at an unfair disadvantage doesn't solve the problem either.

That only punishes honest whales who wouldn't work their way around that.

Moreover, if you see a whale sell-off due to the bid limits, the rewards you receive from the system won't be worth much.

In addition to that, you need 51% Steem Power to implement that idea. Do you really think that people having that kind of Steem Power are going to agree with their bids getting limited?
