APPRECIATING THE BEAUTY OF NATURE

Nature is indeed a blessing. Nature encompasses all plants, animals and other things that were not brought into existence by man. Man who is recognized by God as the first and most influential nature has been interacting with the second nature such as water bodies(oceans,rivers,lakes,streams,lagoons),they atmosphere, mountains, valleys, plants and animals . Without the existence of these secondary nature the first nature(man) would find it very difficult to survive.The sun being one of the secondary nature serve as a complementary mechanism in supporting plants, animals, and mankind. The sun helps photosynthesis to operate on plants.

Mountains perform extreme and important role in influencing global and regional climates and weather conditions. They cover around one-quarter of the earth's land surface and are home to 720million people around the world. Mountains provide man with freshwater, energy food, biodiversity and medicinal products.Source

OCEANS

Oceans are the lifeblood of planet earth and mankind. They produce more than half of the oxygen in the atmosphere, and absorb most carbon from it. The air that we breathe, the water that we drink, the food that we eat, the products that keeps us warm, safe, informed and entertained can all come from or transported by the ocean. It's not just ocean life that depend on phytoplankton(marine plants).These tiny marine plants are estimated to produce over half of the oxygen that we, and all other land animals breathe. oceans are also integral part of water cycle. Vast amounts of water evaporates from the ocean surface, rising into the atmosphere as water vapour. When this vapour collides the colder air condenses to form clouds and then rain. Man, plants and animals all depends on rain for survival.

ANIMALS

Animals plays important role as far as nature is concerned. Some animals on land serve as a dominant predator in its ecosystem. The lion for instance exerts considerable top-down influence to keep the entire ecosystem in check. Lions account for around 85 percent of the predation on large herbivores including buffalo, zebras, and antelopes. Herbivores also feed on green grasses in the ecosystem as a way of surviving . This makes nature so exciting.
