I’m not really sure where or how to begin this. It’s been a while since the last time I wrote something and I’m feeling a little rusty, but that’s not important though. What’s really important is what I want to tell the world right now.

People of the earth, CHILL THE FUCK OUT!!!

Everything is fine. The world is perfectly fine. It’s just going through a natural process. I’m talking about the unending cycle of chaos and order. The world is wired that way and there’s nothing we can do to change that. It’s the force of nature, the strongest force that there is.

Some of us are too arrogant to think that we can do something about it if we could alter some of its major components. Some of us are too stupid to be thinking that there is no hope and that there’s nothing in life but pain and suffering and imminent death. I chose to be neither, or at least that’s what I’m trying to be. The fact that the world is basically divided by the way people think, is a living testament that the world cannot just stay as one thing forever. The world changes constantly. Whether we like it or not, change is necessary.

I just want to be arrogant enough to think that I can still do great things and cool stuff amidst the chaos yet stupid enough to keep on living and have fun even if we are completely uncertain of what tomorrow might bring.

Right now, we are actually in the verge of something wonderful. It might seem chaotic with the heating tensions among nations, viruses, diseases, crashing economies, mass hysteria, climate change, etc. but that’s because we failed to see the bigger picture. Let’s try to look at it in a higher perspective, a bird’s-eye view if you will. You see, society tends to focus on what the “media” feeds it. I’m not saying that media is a bad thing; I’m just saying that we are what we eat. We become what we perceive. And because of that, we fail to appreciate or even see what beauty lies within the eye of the storm.

These issues basically shape the world ahead of us, the ever promising future. A sculptor shapes a sculpture through a messy process; in this sense the world is the medium, those issues are the tools, and the artist, whoever/whatever it might be, go figure it out yourself 😜😄

We can whine just about anything and everything we don’t like in the world; but doing that has virtually zero chances of changing the things that we don’t like in this life. You want something changed? Go work it out yourself, stop blaming other people or the government for your misery, that’s pathetic. If you think you are miserable, that’s because you are only looking at the bad parts, not the whole picture. As the famous Chinese proverb goes “in every crisis, comes an opportunity”.

If we could just think of it as pragmatic as we can, we can see clearly. We drown in our misery because we look at things too deep and maybe this is what Nietzche meant when he said “He who fights with the monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee”.

We cannot alter what’s bigger than us. There’s nothing we can do about the things that we have no control of. But it doesn’t mean we can’t try to live a virtuous life or to put it simply, become less shitty persons. We might have different methods of doing stuff but we all want the same thing, the good things in life. Let’s respect each other’s way of “grind” and “hustle” after all, we have our own reasons for doing so. Let’s just be grateful of what we have, think less of what we don’t have and just work hard for the things we want to have.

Personally, there’s a lot in life I am forever grateful about; friends, family, alcohol, weed, cigarettes, sunsets, the moon, the stars, art, music, coffee, skateboarding, love, the list goes on. You can view them as either good or bad, that’s entirely up to you. The only thing that matters to me is that I am happy and forever grateful that I have those things in my life and no matter how fucked the world becomes, I can always find a way to have fun and just CHILL THE FUCK OUT!!!
