My mother is 79 and for last 6 months she's been put on anticoagulation therapy with warfarin.
It's scary and dangerous (in my opinion).
Warfarin is an effective anti-coagulant for people with irregular rhythm..the only hassle is a frequent blood test to check her INR. Green leafy vegetables are contraindicated by the way.
