Deliciously explained equivalent fractions @mathworksheets. Here are some examples of equivalent fractions
1/2 and 2/4
1/3 and 2/6
1/5 and 2/10 and so on....
To prove 1/2 and 2/4
We can cut out a circle from a paper.
First we can fold it once then each part will show 1/2 i.e. half.
Secondly we will again fold it then each part will be 1/4 and if we take 2 parts of circle , it will become 2/4 means half circle that will be equivalent to 1/2 as that was also half of circle.
