Quick & Fun Experiments: Fluffy Soap Cloud!
Today's experiment is the fluffy soap cloud experiment! This experiment is seriously the quickest experiment out there and is so cool to see it turn into a big fluffy cloud! If you want to know more about this experiment, keep scrolling down!
What you'll need:
- Microwave
- Microwave safe plate
- Ivory Soap
What to do:
- If you want a really big fluffy soap cloud, you'll need to put two bars of the ivory soap onto the plate.
- Next, all you do now is place the plate in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Within a few seconds, you'll see the soap grow into a fluffy cloud!
Why does this happen?:
Tips:
When you're done playing around and observing the fluffy soap cloud, you can put it into a bowl, add a bit of water and crumble up the cloud and you have soap dough!
OR
You can break it up into pieces and use it like soap is intended to be used.
