You are doing nothing but copying and pasting others work in a attempt to make money off of them. That is not tolerated by the steemit community in general.

So my going through world news reports, reading each report, and posting what I find interesting is somehow not allowed here.

You should learn to use spell check.
Then write original content on the news stories, add quotes, and state sources of the quotes. No copy/pasting whole articles. You want to share a full article copy a paragraph or too (quoted) and then link to the source.

What do you think happens when all the sudden all these new people who came over here. following the truther movement find out , your CENSORSHIP is no better than GOOGLE, YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK are gonna feel.

If I were you..i'd pay very close attention to this particular article because it deals with CENSORSHIP and STEEM and selling of STEEM.
People like you have tried this approach before. They now have negative rep accounts and everything they post is hidden by default. Keep posting copy/paste articles and you will eventually find yourself there too.

I find it odd,.. that me spending 3-4 hours a day reading news from around the world only affects me, and not ZERO HEDGE who also posts here.
