It's been a kind of 'blah' week. No visits (so far) this weekend, so I'm going to try and get motivated to do a couple small projects in the yard - one of which is more progress on the firepit project. I sure would like to have that finished!
Keep us updated with firepit project! I use to have metal pit like that as well but stop using the lid that came with it. Stop us from putting all the wood we wanted into the pit.

Will do! There's only a small portion left to clean and organize, but it's going to be very labor intensive. I'm psyching myself up to tackle it because I know I'm going to hurt like crazy afterwards. Lol! Ah, well, that's what aspirin is for.
This pit does have a grate and a screen 'lid'. Normally, I just leave them off altogether unless I'm cooking or trying to contain sparks. Otherwise, let it blaze!
I love your yard updates, it has been a highlight, watching you transform that week by week. It has been great.

Thanks, bud! I just keep pecking away at it. Eventually, it'll be maintenance friendly again. It sure feels good to see concrete, measurable progress. Makes the aches worth it. ;~D
I honestly want to come visit you and the pooch and sit in that awesome lovely area you have worked on Eddie. It has crossed my mind like a dozen times, it makes me smile, seeing it now.
