RE: YOUR BLOG SHOULD BE SEEN & READ! - Have you applied to join our AWESOME Community yet?
And Nicky, we're glad to have you.
Joining Steemitbloggers was the best decision I've made respecting the blockchain. @jaynie isn't kidding about assembling a great crew (or giving people the boot if they're not performing).
The most striking thing I noticed upon becoming a member was that the quality of my comments skyrocketed. And make no mistake, great comments make great posts more valuable. And Steemitbloggers are the best writers on Steemit. Period.
Smart people, make smart people ... smarter.
A Commitment to Quality isn't just an empty promise (or a veiled threat). If you don't want to have to earn it, this is not the place for you. I, for one, have no problem with having to meet high standards. Indeed, I wish this sentiment was more universally shared as I believe it would make the blockchain a premiere destination for the talented.
And, as always, thanks to @bluemist and @appreciator for putting some bullets in the gun. The blockchain needs good whales. We're lucky to have one.

Now that's a comment worthy of being a testimonial!
Absolutely right about that about quality and comments! I know I post music a lot of the time and it's hard to make those more "bloggy" (although I am trying), any proper blogs I write such as the 10 random things, I put everything into because I want it to be the best it can be! No half assing around here.
Love your style too and enjoyed reading your recent post, looking forward to reading more from the quill master 😀

@nickyhavey,
I just checked out your last remix ... you're good my friend. Could you do anything with any of my poems? Perhaps a recitation with music in the background, etc. (a big et cetera ... because I'm completely ignorant when it comes to music ... I can't even whistle).
Quill
Thanks a lot @qullfire! Well if you wanted some of your poems to be spoken or sung, there's a great music community who would be happy to get involved - Atom Collector Records has a discord channel and every Sunday evening (20:00-21:00 UTC) there's improvised singing from poems sent in.
Alternatively, you could record yourself reciting the poems and can send the recording over.
Orrr even more lateral thinking - a 3 way collaboration where you could get a singer to sing your poems over one of my instrumentals which could be a longer project in terms of time and effort but could be interesting concept.
