Yeah, I'm going to get one sewn into the gi pant, and one into the gi jacket. I'll have pics after that. I think the biggest part is figuring out how to price them on Steemit. I mean I can say send me X amount of SBD or Steem with a huge markup that should allow me to ship anywhere in the world. But that's bad for the people who live near me, it's like they are paying a premium. I think what I'll do is have the base price of 1 patch, or a discount for say 10-20 patches. The buyer must send me the base price with their email address in the memo. I can then email them to get their shipping info in private, then calculate shipping. They can then send the remaining balance.
I hope they sell ok, because they were expensive to make. I think it will be a good tool to attract this audience. Then I can use the profits to set up the steemitbjj.com website which will give more info to people who are interested in Steemit. I can also use the profits to make more steemitbjj goods such as t-shirts, mma/bjj shorts, spats, compression shirts, etc. I want to try to get this logo and name spreading into that community, because it's already such a great community on mainstream social media. We see trending posts on FB, Twitter, IG, YouTube, every day for MMA and BJJ. We want to attract those people here!
You're on the right path man for sure, you've got your brand already and it looks legit as fuck. You can do no wrong here in my opinion, I think Steemit is starving for pages like yours to bring it more to the mainstream, I'm with you all the way bro ;) If i can help in anyway let me know.
Thanks @thecryptkeeper, that is the plan. To build a brand and show that you can use this to recruit more people and also run a business.
We will see. I think it may take awhile to sell through these patches. But, I do think as I attract more people interested in our type of content they will sell. I think when I get the website up that explains to people what steemit is and how it can be used for academies, students, and competitors in jiu jitsu, mma and martial arts, that it will be much easier.
