Progression with vacation part 3

Hello steemins we’re back for another update on the family vacation as you can see we had a fun filled day at the park with Carter. My girlfriend Breanna, Natalie, Carter and I all went to the park with loaded up loafs of bread ready to find ducks at the park and more.

Carter found the ducks before we did and ran up to them with the bread in his hand ready to throw. I showed him how to break it up into small pieces because the ducks were small and we didn’t want them to choke. He was having a blast just throwing the bread and watching the ducks peck away eating the bread.

After a few minutes of feeding just the two small ducks, we saw more start swimming towards us so we fed them as well. Carter was getting so excited that the ducks were all coming to him, so I kept handing him the bread as we walked along the bridge. He must have had about 10 ducks swimming in the lake eating all the bread he was throwing at them. He even had 2 cranes come towards the bread and 1 even flew towards the water where he was throwing the bread, but they never ate it lol.
Carter’s next adventure was the playground and boy he would play on the playground for hours if he could lol. However, today Carter faced a fear of his just by watching a couple of boys do it and by encouragement from us all.

The fire pole on this playground might have been about 10 feet high, so he had about a 7 foot drop. He was very scared and kept saying he couldn’t do it and he didn’t want to so we didn’t make him. He later kept watching a little boy his age, but a few months younger climb down the pole and the little boy asked him to try it with him. He kept showing Carter how easy it was, I went over there and assured him I wouldn’t allow him to fall. The first time he went down I helped him, but he had so much fun he wanted to go alone.

He jumped up and down for joy the first time he finally did it by himself and ran back up the playground to do it 3 more times, taking turns with the other 4 boys. He had a blast at the playground playing with 2 twin sisters, who both liked his favorite T.V. show PJ Masks. They pretended to be characters from the show and said they were fighting the super villain Romeo; he was the other young boy they were playing with together. Carter made a bunch of friends in less than 10 minutes of being at the park.
On the way home we stopped at gas station so we could grab some drinks. Carter had to use the restroom of course so I took him in and he got all excited when we walked in and ran up to this dog statue.

He wanted a picture with it and he said he wanted to take it home lol. I told him he couldn’t take it home, but he could take a picture after he used the bathroom. Carter was so happy and proud to be standing next to this dog statue holding a waitress tray in his paw with his arm around him.
