Steemit enhances security features and enables verification of new account

Few of my friends tried creating an account. Since they wanted to join Steemit community, And they noticed these two new things.

* Accounts not being created even after successful verification of email ID and mobile number.

* Captcha addition on signup pages.

Below is the message they got from Steemit after successfull verification.

Just a  few days before there was a message that due to huge demand that the accounts are in waitlist. This message has been removed now. Looks like the waitlist accounts are still not activated.

My friends are very much eager to join the steemit community. But looks like they have to wait few more days.
