Just transfered my first 15 steem to my wallet.
So i recently bought my first Steem because i believe that Steemit is the next big thing [give it another year or 2]. and managed to transfer it over from Poloniex [now that its no longer frozen!]
What is the best thing to do with it now ?
I have heard its a good idea to trade it to Steem power so you have more influence tokens ? also i have heard steempower takes long to power down [withdraw?], like 2 years, this isnt an issue for me.
What is the best resource to learn about Steem, Steem power and Steem dollar?
is it really 2 years because i have heard that it is 3 years
im not too sure tbh, I have read 1 year, 2 years and 3 years, but i think i see 2 years more often

make sure to read up on them in the FAQ section so that you know what happens to your steem when you convert it into power
It does look like Steem power is the way to go if you dont need the liquidity. going to do a bit more reading but will probably power up!
