RE: Another thing to add to the list of why I am 100% powering down

While I agree with most of your points, I don't your last. No one will present better evidence of your assertions than those that will vote and comment on this very comment I am making right now. I completely agree and understand that that party will be empowered to do more and worse as soon as these changes are implemented via HF.

People don't agree on facts, and interpretations of facts are further off yet. Most of us have been indoctrinated from birth. @vandeberg is likely to have been, and his post indicates to me he has shrugged off some of that misinformation. We both hope he'll continue and in the future know better. I'd appreciate you encourage that, rather than discourage folks from expressing their views, even when wrong.

We only learn from mistakes, after all.

Thanks!

Steemit INC had good ideas to start with and years later this is where we are at. Minds/Gab/Voat and others have grown tremendously while Steem has not.

His entire post had no facts in it. His posts directly reflect Steemit INC. It makes them look dumber and weakens their own case on why they should even be seen as leaders.

Incompetence is not something I am patient with. There are people who are willing to learn and grow, and others who will never learn or grow.

I manage production facilities for my career, the assets under my leadership amounts to 350 - 500 Million USD range.

I would essentially fire most of Steemit INC for being incompetent at this point.

One thing I note is that cryptocurrency is pretty fresh tech. Steem and rewarding content creation model that it pioneered is novel and much misunderstood. I can understand your disappointment in performance to date. I share it, as do many others. The problem I see is not code quality, which @vandeberg seems competent at, but grasp of investment strategy and how that can be deployed on Steem. I don't see any seasoned investors in their midst, and ideologues make poor investors.

I expect they can learn from their mistakes, if they survive them. I hope for all our sakes they do.

You and I have years and years of business experience that makes things obvious to us that these kids don't have. Vinegar, flies, honey, and all that.

Some need to be fired so that others who have experience can be brought in. I think they do themselves a huge disservice for not seeing this much sooner.
