I actually am looking forward to SOC (SMTs, Oracles, and Communities) to provide real solutions not only to bots of all kinds (every autovote), but stake-weighting.
Many experiments will ensue, and I expect some very practical solutions will become available.
The largest community, the Steem community, won't have any tools still. All that will happen is that there will be a great and vast Wild West and the suburbia that will flock around it, so if by isolation and turning our back on a problem we can pretend to solve a problem, SMT, oracles, communities, they will be a Gimmick at best.
It's easy to underestimate people that seem so powerless.
People are the only real power that exists.
It's simply a matter of what those things address, and what they obviously don't.
