Friends in this post I am going to discuss about what is the pro and cons in Facebook and steemit,

We all know that both all these are social networking sites they provide the users to interact with each other and share contents,

1.steemit:-steemit is a type of blogging social networking site, on which you get paid for posting your content with the other members of this community, the income of your article is based on actually how many 'upvotes' is actually your post receives, so that's why there is no fixed income on each article, we also get rewards to upvote own artical also,(but the reward of upvote is decided by your total voting power left,. You can check your current voting power at https://steemnow.com ).so that's why in this platform you almost paid for everything that you're done and the amount of reward is given to you after 7 days of the posting your articles.

Pros:-

  1. You get paid for everything.
  2. Less competition.
  3. No investment.
  4. Easy to use.
  5. Based on blockchain technology.

Cons:-

  1. Worst user support by steemit.
  2. Unreasonable dominance of big whales,
  3. Blacklist anyone even without a notice or reason.
  4. No proper complaint system.
  5. Not good chatting service.

(Friends today is a very bad day for me I lost my reputation rank from 40 to 9 only, there is no prior notice given to me, when I checked a account named @blacklist-a blacklisted me with hundred percent power and my reputation dropped all of the sudden, and there is no solution of this thing this is really disappointing for a platform like this, this only shows the how weak small users are that we lost our hard earned reputation without any reason on notice by only a 100%Blacklisted :(

2.Facebook:-Facebook is a social media platform, on which we can do chat, subscribe, like, share and many things, we can also send friend request to other users so that we can make friendship with them, most of the people using Facebook for their affiliate marketing because Facebook has very big user base, currently Facebook is the number one social media platform, Facebook don't provide any kind of reward to their users for writing posts, you can give a like, reaction to the other members post also.you can also do live video chatting with your friends in Facebook with it's go live feature.

Pros:-
1.user friendly interface.
2.good apps for android, ios and window.
3.superb user support.
4.best for affiliate marketing.
5.large number of users.
6.live video chatting.

  1. Good privacy.

Cons:-
1.Don't pay you anything.
2.kill your important time.
3.addictive.
4.not as good as steemit,haha

[Common things with diffrent names]

                Facebook. / Steemit.
  1. Like. = Upvote.

  2. Share. = Resteem.

  3. Subscribe. = Follow.

(* Not pay. = Pay you).LOL ;) biggest difference.

Steemit is my favorite social media. There is no argument about it.

Ya and i also like Steemit because it got a very catchy platform.

Great article good read . That bit about reputation is a bit of a concern cheers mike

Ya, but don't worry I will make a really nice article on the blacklist system very soon

What would make them do that to you?

That's the problem they don't tell me anything about what is my mistake.

Seems wrong. Thank you for the reply cheers mate

Chess buddy trying to regain my reputation back, haha :)

This is a very good write up, I was also compiling a write up on this (Facebook vs Steemit). You handled most of it already, I will reference your post and will focus on other areas much later.

Now concerning the blacklisting issue, The team in charge have there own ideology on how thing should run, though it is looking like what we have in Africa and the most part of the world where Government are n't transparent.

I however suggest it should be democratic and there should be a public guideline on blacklisting or the general modus operandi revealing the salient issues about steemit apart from the normal "quick guide" in other words due diligence on things like blacklisting.

Better still since block chain is a disruptive, decentralized and distributed technology, steemit should, or be considered to evolve to allow user come to a consensus on what should be ideal for a fair and sustainable platform.

Imagine if I grow to become a whale and make a post and have someone criticism me I could make the person a target and down vote the persons reputation to zero. Hence there should be checks and balances.

In conclusion I believe the steemit board have the overall interest of the growth of steemit to become the "next generation social media of the block chain technology" by encouraging its users. Thanks!

Thanks buddy for this wonderful reply I really appreciate your thinking, keep it up good work.

This post received a 1.5% upvote from @randowhale thanks to @thecrytotrader! For more information, click here!

Thank you for this post. I am also learn steemit daily basic

Keep learning, i also do that

did they give any explanation as to why u were blacklisted?

No not at all buddy,i like steemit but this is totally unexpected.

They just write that its coppied or something, end of story

I've never heard of this blacklist system... Sounds annoying

If you want I will make a separate post on detailed analysis about this Blacklist system so that other users also can understand and never got blacklisted like me without any reason :(

big shame to lose your reputation - hope this comment helps rebuild it

Thanks you so much buddy

In my opinion, there should be a proper explanation of demotion.
Apart from this, I think steemit would beat Facebook in near future in terms of its social media dominance backed by its reward scheme based on blockchain technology.

Ya but' they have to work on their user support system

I dont think so
I mean steemit is a public platform, I can comment on any blog when I wish how I wish
and facebook is more private

Yup that's a right thing

intetesting story

Yup but it's real
