Why Is There No Inbox Or Direct Message Option On Steemit? Or Is There Any That I'm Not Aware Of?

Hi Steemit board!

I would like to know why an option for direct or private messages has not been included here on Steemit! Some of us would like to make new friends without others seeing or hearing about it you know😁😁😁.

Take me for example, I love meeting new people from different parts of the world, learn about their culture, tradition and languages. I want to believe Steemit is also a social media platform😐😐😐

      Hey @teamdebbie, I think it's not integreated for the reason everything should be transparant but you could always join Discord, really nice chat client with a lot of Steemians! Cya there! :)
