Here's the simplest way to run steemit.com server software on your computer.

Using Kinematics by Docker:

Using command line:

docker pull teego/steemit-bundle

docker run --rm -it -p 3000:3000 -p 3001:3001 teego/steemit-bundle

Thank you, usefull!

Hey, I have a few questions concerning Homebrew and the set up of steem. I downloaded Homebrew and run brew install TigerND/core/steem. Is that all the software I need to use steem, create more accounts and bots? Or do I need another software like this here (https://github.com/steemit/steem/blob/master/BUILD_OSX.md), too? Sorry I am new to this.. ;)

Grr ... The only machines I have available for this run on a 32-bit architecture. I will have to wait until a 64-bit machine comes free unless somehow someone knows how to do it on 32-bit.
