How far has #philippines come in terms of steemit growth? 

Well, i may not be able to relay an actual measure of the extent of growth but look at the humble screenshots below:

The recent screenshot is simplistic evidence of growth and activity on steemit in general

There is more growth underway and this growth is not tied only to a nation, for according to me "nations are locations". 

On steemit, there is only the steemit-nation and the moonation

Overall, I am glad to see "nations" that are considered "developing" by world standards shining here on steemit. 

Further evidence that in a broad sense, "steem/steemit is decentralized as this phenomenon doesn't happen on the centralized web

Growth is growth! "Every steemian has his/her role in the ecosystem and no one does more than the other". 

According to me, there is nothing like "developing or developed nations". The world is still very novice on many issues.

Blockchain is a technology but can also be used as a curriculum, depending on its user, to educate and adjust the mentality of the world. An open-source, decentralized steem ledger does alot to display the world in its truest state and steemit is the CCTV.

As regards steemit growth, my methods all along wasn't very conventional. We sought the harder, unconventional yet more solid and testimonial route.

It just had to involve community, family-hood, love etc way more long-lasting things and stronger bonds, than a just another social interface for fun and rewards. Growth had to be organic and paced. Steemit growth had to involve "a home" away from what conventional "internet" has offered etc

Thus, we needed a solid existing community and that's is where my effort went to, first. I was keen on sign-up events etc but more than that, i looked into what we already had (an already existing community) and worked on strengthening that too. 

I did want people to join steemit because of you and me and for the sole reason that we are here too. 

Thus, i spoke of the "steemit effect" alot when speaking to leaders of communities and in steemit meetups. I spoke of how a steemian who is a janitor already has an edge over a janitor, who is a janitor because, while one does only-mostly cleaning, the other is cleaning, with a mind that is constantly being mined into spanlessness. "The steemit effect". 

In meetups, the vibe grew better over the course of more meetups, with you feeling that a fellow steemian is brother. 

Non-steemian invitees felt this vibe too and there becomes more solid reason to become part of the steemit family.

To create a home on steemit thus, steemit growth just had to be courtesy of everyone; "the ecosystem as whole". 

"Everyone" regardless of location, status, influence etc

Thus, #philippines will not thrive, without the existence of every other. "So, my method of curation involved "everyone". 

Our method was very much inside-out. I believed in "substance". I believe in "proven". Thus, a lot of pacing happened and selfless effort put, into educating and strengthening our core "already existing" community.  

Steemit Meetups had more technical essence hence, one being: to strengthen the bond of the community. Thus, my presence at some meetups could involve tending to rifts and disputes that have been noticed in communities and re-channeling the vibe of the community aright. 

To accomplish this much, i kept on a "neutral party" and this helped matters and drew more people in, who would visit my DMs to ask advice on how to deal with community matters more effectively and at times when i needed to take charge of matters as being more of a neutral party, i would come in stealthily, either using a special style of curation, leaving a directional comment or appearing at a meetup.

Borne out of neutrality, my decision-making, when it comes to restoring calm in community matters, took cognizance of "human" moreso than anything else. 

This aside, i want to talk about women. 

Today though, i will talk of women as their numbers are growing on steemit. Though, the world has "men" more at the forefront when it comes to cryptocurrency, blockchain etc; by means of steemit, women now have a gianter role in the mainstream adoption of steem. 

They have helped me a whole lot and the list of these women is endless. Women know how to keep the "home" going and "steemit" being a home, women have stayed part of my efforts.

I have been involved with many communities on steemit and "women" have been so involved all through. The list is endless!

Then, more women got involved

And they would listen to me and be passionate about my efforts and go out of their way to cater to my weaknesses. They came to my space, where they felt allowed to be "untalented" and relegate reservations and together we would get into their hearts and see the power in there, the feelings and the love etc; then we would work on how to transmit this awesome vibe into community to maintain peace, inspire and empower. 

Indeed a lot of women visited my chats but for very special reasons (e.g empowering others, self-improvement, self-definition) and we would talk for hours, get to know them and re-send them out to go catwalk that walk in newer ways. 

Women have super-powers and when they need to have guts or improvise, they so would. At times, when i am not able to reach their chats e.g on whatsapp, while the boys keep on conventional and leaving texts; women would improvise and would record voice notes instead and i would listen and i tell you; "they come prepared" and powerful, with questions like "who are you; "who is this @surpassinggoogle" etc

This is to reiterate, the already known fact that women and powerful and so is the case, when it comes to their role, in the steem ecosystem. While the men haste to show-off their work, these women can afford to stay behind the scenes to keep the home; "a home".

Well, since my minnow days on steemit, women have been part of my journey. I treat them specially and i am sorry men but i do and you know it and thank your for understanding. And no, "its not their charm"; hahaha, you know i prefer substance; "its their superpowers!".

Men are all powerful and hardcore brothers to me, but alas today is for our precious catwalkers

Yes, they have special powers and yes, i found many who didn't know it and many who seek it; but all they needed was to be re-told it and they will go back out there on steemit, "shining!"

These are the words, i like to start out our session (while talking of other intenser facets of woman) with:

"Woman" is a gianormous word. Yes, there is "woman" and there is woman. Today, there is a huge list of steemwomen from all around the world, who passionately help me, without asking in return because in truth, they are filled with love for others and me and they are simply being "women".

In the last meetup here in Manila, i was very weak but i had to be present. Among, my roles there was also to meet up with a renown person in the Philippines and worldwide too.

She is a celebrity, a Wushu queen athlete and an actress, but it meant more to me, to meet with "the person" of her, to establish even the core of her vision. 

I was particularly interested in the woman and the human and it was right there and findable! We stood for hours i think and it was me and her, talking about her passion and how she has come to see steemit as the right tool to reach many more people with empowerment.

She wants real grass-root impact as well, to where she can touch lives more as a person and directly, than only as a renown figure. She wants to be in the DMs, in the comment section etc as a "woman" reaching out to the world directly, inspiring them to chase at dreams even in the face of "mountains of odds". 

As she was able to do so, to highest levels in pursuit of her Wushu career, she wants to use the steem blockchain also as a tool to tell people: "if i can do it, you can too!"

She has a story and prior to steemit, she has been touching lives with the story of a "woman"; her story and on steemit, she is continuing her story in new ways; unshaken, deeply-rootedly.

I heard this! I stood there with her and I was in her eyes, in her heart, in her mind and she is Wushu queen but i could peer in, because her very definition was all bare. 

And a defined person, she understands pacing and the need for pacing, so she has paced her steemit journey as well, just right. 

While she has more 300k followers around social media, she wants to learn what steemit is about first (climbing the ladder), so that she can balancely have impact, while pulling people up the steemit ladder. 

She is new on steemit but she has already invested in buying steem. She has moved fast because she has already spotted the potential of steemit also as a media to create more far-reaching testimonial world adjustment, thus, she has learned as much as she can about steem/steemit and it's spanlessness in a short space of time.

We are looking into a giant celebrity-filled steemit event really soon etc but again, special woman like @luvabi and @dreamiely @grazz etc who arranged the steemit event and meetup with @janicehung, will take care of those discussions.

I met another awesome woman

I met another awesome woman at the recent steemit meetup here and she strained her gentle neck for me! 

She stood hours long with me, looking up to pay attention to the deep boring things i had to say. She is a boss in her company but she kept looking up! She gave me space and room in her heart and mind and let me speak. She exerted herself on my behalf to recount each of my words and she magnified these words giving these words more valuable essence. 

She let go; she let her feelings show; she was "human"; she was "woman".
