We are only one decision away from a totally different life.

Two years ago today - on the 24th of July 2016 12:50 UTC - I signed up to Steemit.com, and that decision changed my life forever.

We can't predict the future, so what we do is go trying things and then look how they turn out. Sometimes we're lucky, and sometimes we learn.

Now if I was asked to describe my Steem journey in only one word, then it would probably be this one:

M I N D - B L O W I N G.

Thank you @knircky for introducing me to this wonderful platform back in July 2016 - without you I wouldn't be where I am today! You told me that you thought this could be a great place for me.

Damn, it is!!!

We are our choices

Everything we are today is the consequence and mirror of the decisions we've made in the past.

We get shaped by the experiences we make and the people we meet en route. We self-develop according to our level of courage and adventurousness, combined with the will to let go what doesn't work for us and the open-mindedness that makes us embrace the change.

What I've learned during these amazing two years is that Steem can be much more than just a social network. It's a place that empowers people to become the best version of themselves.

Steem is technological progress represented by one of the best blockchains in the world, built by a community of creative, extroverted and smart pioneers who're itchy to make this world become a better place.

We're the embodiment of the decentralized American dream

The internet of value is on, and we're all part of it!

Opportunities are growing fast on the Steem blockchain, and not only one day passes without a new project being launched in our network.

We are not good at waiting for someone else to change the world for better, we prefer to do it on our own.

We make no difference between cultures, languages and skin colours. Doors are open on Steem, everybody is invited to become somebody and live their own steemy dream.
