Hello friends,
My name is jasdeep singh and i am from Amritsar (Punjab). Today i will tell you why i joined Steemit. I saw a lot of videos on YouTube how to make money online. Some of the works needed investment and the work that was free was very difficult. Then one day i watched a video about Steemit over YouTube. So i joined it and started working for it.

In the beginning it was quite difficult for me to get visitors as it was just a start and you know in the starting every task seems bit difficult to do. But i kept on posting my content without giving up. So i posted on daily basis and as days passed on i started getting response and people interacted me by commenting on my posts and urged me to post more content and it was a great feeling at that time.

I would like to tell you that Steemit is really a big platform for beginners or for experienced and for YouTubers as well. Whoever wish to write content online and want to earn money just by this kind of posting.

Hello sunnysingh13! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
