Information for all Steem users
Today we want to inform you about passing the important milestone. Those who closely followed our announcements are aware that we have prepared our own library for signing transactions on the client side.
What does it mean? No keys are sent to the server side now.
It’s significant security update for those who still avoid logging to Steepshot with Steem Account.
We’re going to open source Steepshot app after both Android and iOS apps are released. You’ll be able to have a look at the source code and make sure it’s not sending your keys anywhere. Stay tuned for the upcoming announcements.
Information for Steepshot Android app users
Since the transaction signing was moved to the client side you will need to type in your Steem private posting key again after downloading the update from Google Play.

I love the app but your only able to type a title. A good feature would be to be able to have a template that you can reuse for a footer plus being able to type an actual description and not have the description be the title.

I don't know why I cannot login after scanning the posting key, it seems I am blocked in the login page...
Are you sure you are doing everything right? Remember: you have to press the button to show private posting key. Try this video

I downloaded the app yesterday and hope to find time soon to fully experience it.
i'm using ah lg v10 phone and i've been having a problem with retrieving images from phone library for posting to steepshot. what gives.
