RE: Why @ned and @dan Might Not Be The Best People To Take Steemit To The Next Level That We All Deserve.
I don't know if new blood is needed to take steemit to the next level, as an investors though I will say a few things surprise me.
1- 100+ applications have been built for steem yet there is no steem/SBD wallet. A one purpose wallet so people can buy steem on an exchange and store steem safely without having to reveal their identity by registering on steemit via a mobile number.
2- There is no direct connection with the fiat world. Many solutions are available such as changelly that steemit could integrate with to make buying steem very easy, what are they waiting for?
3- The roadmap doesn't seem focus on increasing the utility of steem. As a leader trying to bootstrap a new currency 'closing the loop' would be my top priority. For instance I havn't seen a steem credit card or marketplace on the agenda.
'closing the loop' is perhaps the fire exit to the rabid hordes that we so desperately need to let in not out! ... Godspeed!!
Ripple has a great connection with the fiat world. Steemit could learn a lot here.
I used to be a fan of Ripple, but then it became too un-intuitive so I left for Steemit.
