[IC] ➻ ‡ Certainly not underestimated with all the attention you receive; however, the publicity it received is well deserved. I have to admit that although the manga has definitely ruined me by ruining plot twists, the anime took the story to a whole new level. You can see it immediately in the opening (which is very well done, Guren no Yumiya is also a great song!), Attack on Titan is clean and well executed.

➻ ‡ I must say that, up to now, the story has been incredible. While I know the possible twists of the plot due to my reading of the manga, I must say that I definitely appreciate much more the progression of the story in the anime. I have to say that most of the time, the incoming spin of the plot is obvious, but I'm not going to remove too much of the score for that.

➻ ‡ The animation is great. It's clean, darker than the black level, even. Even when the characters use the 3D maneuvering equipment, the environments they run seem more detailed than ever, and much thought is given to animation. All the characters move as they should, and given the poor quality of the manga in terms of how it relates action scenes with the audience, the anime does an outstanding job and worthy of praise.

➻ ‡ As I said, you can see that this is a professional anime that starts with the opening. The song, as well as the whole soundtrack, encapsulates the atmosphere of anguish and despair and the theme of perseverance in the face of adversity. Attack on Titan seems to always play songs that fit perfectly to the emotions, and that's definitely a good thing. The voice actors are pretty good too, and the screams of the titans are well done.

➻ ‡ The characters in Attack on Titan are all human. What I mean by this is that they all have personal flaws, imperfections, if you will, but they also have the positive characteristics that make them good characters. The development of the main characters, Eren, Mikasa and Armin, is well told through the series. Armin is the brain, Mikasa is the force, and Eren is the fighting spirit. All the secondary characters are pretty well done too. Jean is the role of Eren, Reiner, Annie and Berthold, all of them elite students who almost reach the Mikasa level, Connie is the typical student, etc. I really enjoyed how they separately show the growth of the characters through the series. Mikasa receives an episode that reveals what really goes through his mind and his reason for being behind each action that takes away the perfect air he had at the beginning of the series, Armin has an episode that shows that it is not useless as it seems that it is in the beginning. As for Eren ... well, a big surprise awaits you! In general, the development of the character is exactly what I imagined for an anime of this caliber. It is definitely worth a total of 10.

➻ ‡ While I have to say that although the anime is certainly nice, I can not say it could not be better. At times, the anime feels a little slow, and while I understand that it is supposed to be dramatic, the long pauses and frequent flashbacks make very little of an episode compress. However, that does not detract from my overall enjoyment of the series, as I still think it is one of the funniest anime I've seen. Drama is also necessary at times, so you can not be too hard on Attack on Titan. I think I would enjoy more of the anime waiting until a full season is released and seeing everything in that moment, although if I really have the patience to try it, it's in the air!
