Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 18/4/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

March 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also from being tired of the previous early work shifts and meeting with my friends for a good few hours. I woke-up 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, this was because I was feeling way too hot. There was no cat alarm clock in the house he was out all night. Out of the covers it was cold. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning it was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold. It's a early start because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With no free time I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, however the very annoying thing was the bin had vanished. There was a new rubbish guy in the area and he had moved all the bins, my hope was this will return to normal after today. It continued to quickly get brighter, enough that I was able to see the sun rise. Traffic was very quiet which surprised me. When I got to work it was the fat superior who I would be working with, I was glad because the previous 2 mornings I had my least favourite but she had been in a good mood thankfully. Our colleague who sets up task2 had also just arrived, normally he is there 3 minutes past. Still because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 there was just under the usual amount of work, which I was glad to see after Monday being so terrible. But this means I will have to rush most of the time, especially if more gets added. Which I'm sure did happen, there were definitely some nuisances this morning similar to Monday. This caused me some delays, so I was rushing which put me 2 minutes over my allocated time. Checking over the system task2 was just over the usual amount, which I was hoping wouldn't be the case. With being slightly delayed I would likely need to rush it a bit, well this was definitely the case with extra work coming in, it's been likely the worst day so far of the year for it. Task2 was completed but going over by 8 minutes of the allocated time. I wasted not a moment going on to task3, looking over task3 it was just under the usual amount of work. This means I will need to rush slightly, thankfully the work was with no complications, task3 was completed with 1 minute going over my time. I took a look at the weekly task sheet, and shocked to see my name is still not on it. I wonder if they got annoyed with me that last week I barely done my weekly tasks and so they just decided not to give me any this week, haha and good!! So I worked on the usual with the remaining time I had left and just done a tiny bit for one of the weekly tasks. I can say it was a good shift, at one point "and I'm guessing because" yesterday my least favourite superior tried to slowly get me involved with the financial side, and so I expected today that the fat superior would do the same as it was so busy. But no she's the only one that does it, still I was getting tired and so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. When I got outside I hoped the weather had got warmer, it was only slightly better from this morning. Once I arrived home I got started with some of the main daily chores. I started organising the photos moved from my phone to the computer into two separate groups. I done a bit of this the previous day and think it can be done rather quickly, well if I just had the time to dedicate to it. I would of had more time for things but I had a nap not long after, it was not for long likely not even one hour. I decided to turn up to meeting with friends online, the ones who were on holiday to catch-up. Unfortunately we couldn't get anything up and running on their new devices, making the evening basically a waste of time. I would o thought they would of tried earlier but of course with this it never seems to be the case. For the quick work-outs it's been 126 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep on waiting longer. Lastly I started to prepare dinner I had salmon, broccoli, sweet potatoes and mostly fruit, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. While the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards is very positive I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
