Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 22/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early work shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, but I'm not napping during the day anymore which is great, however it's still best to strive for a healthy amount of sleep. When I did try to sleep there was a bit of a problem due to the cold. I woke-up a few hours to my scheduled alarm, this was because of trouble regulating my temperature. Our "cat alarm clock" as mostly been sleeping indoors during the night and will usually be quiet at night until recently. He as began again mewing during the night, almost similar to when he initially stayed with us which he was being very loud. This is not great for me due to these early morning shifts, he protests during the night for not being allowed out sometimes during the day but last night he did not stay with us because of the milder weather. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold from the beginning. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I was not fighting the flu like I did previously and so hoped for a better day, the cold was milder this morning and the traffic was no where to be seen. When I got to work it was my boss with who I would be working with for this shift which is good considering how I'm feeling still unwell. In typical fashion my boss did not wait around and was already with another colleague setting up task2 for me later. Because we are doing the first to arrive type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes this can be up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 there was a about the usual amount, however because I was not feeling well I decided to rush a bit as yesterday even with trying to be quick I was a few minutes still past my target time. Since it was a little less compared to yesterday and the work slightly easier it was completed right on the dot. Task2 like yesterday was just over the usual amount, however it was a bit easier, even with that I was behind with the completion time by around 6 minutes but this was because I did take it easy a few times. Normally task3 as been good to me but the past 3 days it's been a little more than I expected but still under the usual amount. It was the same this morning but I didn't want to delay it incase anything else come up, this resulted in task3 being completed with still 9 minutes spare. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done. I had one of course for the week but this was done by another colleague at the beginning of the week. Not so much by choice but because the superior forced my colleague to get that done. Silly really it made no sense to do this because I could of got it done myself on a different day, it's not even something that needs to be completed urgently or infact ever, it's just another pointless thing to have people doing something "extra". Our boss had been complaining about the lack of pointless things being completed this week and so I helped yesterday. But didn't bother this morning because of how I felt and because I'm sure with a new week coming there will be something pointless for me to do. I heard my boss asking some to stay longer today but nothing for me, it was also the last day for one of our colleague she's supposedly upgrading her life with a new house and better job. I can say it was a good shift except for still feeling unwell so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was slightly brighter and temperatures milder, still before going home I had to go do some shopping in the baking isle. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I wanted to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the walls. Also the dates I need off from work to attend the event with friends in a few months time have been submitted but I'm still waiting to check on their approval. Unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things mostly because like yesterday I spent much of my time sleeping with the hope of shifting this flu. One of my friends now claims I have passed the flu to them.. oops, I have my doubts it was me to be honest and they agreed it's more likely from the garden work they had to do the previous day to us meeting. For the quick work-outs it's been 78 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators Application application for March is now open, also the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
