Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 8/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to organising things for the next online meet up with friends. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, this is from the heating shutting down again for the 2nd night in a row and so being cold. I woke-up 6 hours to my scheduled alarm because of our latest cat being very unsettled. I should of got up and kept him company for a while and then tried to sleep again, but usually he is good and after trying for while he will settle back down but last night was not the case at all. He done this many times during the night keeping me awake most of it, I went back to sleep only to wake at my scheduled alarm minutes later which was pointless. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was a dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold right from the start, this was even with the heating being on. It was a late start but not a problem for me because I only had work later in the day, and like this I still had time for chores and a few other things. I felt a lot worse this morning with a headache and being sensitive to any light. likely this is from the very bad nights sleep I had. Thankfully I managed to shift both the headache and being sensitive to light to get through a few things. I done what I could, and with my free time over I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was no doubt cold, no surprise with the snowfall we had recently and the promise of more to arrive later at some point. When I got to work I was not looking forward to being in charge of the extra work, mostly because of how cold it was today. My boss was very quick to let me know that apparently the guy for the extra work won't be ready for the next hour and so he wanted me to cover a few people. For whatever reason the people in charge here just never seem to learn, because it's very likely the tracker isn't displaying the right time. So when I was doing cover work it dawned on me that I should also start the paperwork for the extra just in-case. Well I couldn't even begin my first sheet of paper when my boss burst in apologizing and saying the guy was here ready to begin the extra work process, and of course like the previous 2 days once again I had to scramble and rush everything. And honestly it's one of my biggest reasons to why I hate doing this, it would of been much more sensible if my boss said to me instead.. Hey get the paper work done first and everything else prepared for the extra work and if you still got 30 mins spare do some cover work. But I guess something sensible is too much to ask for in most work places these days. I still tried but as I done that the guy I'm working with already showed up wanting to get started. Fortunately unlike the first guy this week who was rushing this one was also friendly and calm. The fools next door at least made it easier for me today but that still doesn't meant that it didn't feel like I was doing 20 different things at the same time. However what made it better for me was that the workload for this shift was actually pitiful, I said the same thing yesterday but today was half of that. But you know I rather have that then a lot, I completed the work with the guy and once he left I could take things easier because there was still unfortunately plenty of time left until my shift ended. And so I don't know why some of the others were still rushing with such a easy job to deal with, but I have a feeling it's because the superiors have cut down on our allocated time for completion. One guy in particular was really in a panic and I discovered later that the superior was demanding that he have all the extra work completed by the time I leave. Very stupid, so that means essentially the team that is in later is left with almost nothing to do. None of this reached me because they know I wouldn't except such nonsense so I told the guy to ignore them but I doubt he will. We had enough done that by the time the rest of the team arrived I honestly didn't see much point. I'm not responsible for having the work completed by tonight as I get out earlier so it will be down to them. Thankfully before I got too fed up it soon came round for me to escape work😁. On the way home it had already turned dark, it was freezing out but I honestly found it to be colder earlier and yesterday. Once I got home I had little time to get started with chores before having to meet with friends online. I honestly don't know how I managed to get so much more done that first day. But I guess I took it a little easier because I already who would be turning up online tonight when I meet with friends. Before getting to that I also started to prepare for getting some laundry done, I turned up online for the latest time compared to the previous days. Because I was so late there was not much progress made but some is better than none. For the quick work-outs 43 days since my last one but they are going to have to wait even longer because of what I think is another flu trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I didn't check-in with my father it was already too late, then I settled for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 Week 4 is underway this is a opportunity for users to learn and earn STEEM. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
