Daily Steem Price Update 7/8/2025
Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 7/8/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.
There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.
I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Aug 2025- Hello Steem supporters, so I once again missed out on another 3 days of my usual posts. This is not exactly because I got any worse of this chest infection, but because I wanted to seek out more help from doctors. And let me tell you something.. we need to have a little chat about these doctors and the level of care that is followed and allowed by government. That was actually suppose to be what I wanted to post a little about on todays post. But instead I was so exhausted after meeting with a good friend. The purpose of our meeting was actually for me to say my goodbyes in-case the worse is to happen. A phone call was all I wanted but he very much insisted he wanted to see me no matter how much I said it was not necessary. The reason was actually because I wanted to say my goodbyes to a few others in-case the worst happens. But honestly after our meeting when I arrived home I was so drained from seeing my good friend and our long emotional conversation that I collapsed in bed and rested for most of the day. You would of thought I would feel a little more energetic after the rest but this was not the case, I still felt so tired and could of likely gone back to sleep. I felt better.. well "temporally" as always with this horrid infection but decided to get out of bed and try to do something before hopefully having a better nights sleep tonight. Hope you all have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

I am very sorry to read about your condition. And I really hope you recover soon, no matter what you think the chances are, or what the doctors tell you (quite often this is not true at all). Just two days ago I was reading about the life expectancy in the US. It is longer than in my country and this must undoubtedly be due to better healthcare. So I am optimistic about you and hope you recover soon.
On the other hand, unrelated to that, you remind me of something I should do too. It's not "seeing friends in case the worst happens." I recently read a lawyer's call for people to sort things out while they're still alive, no matter how old they are, because really, no one knows.
It's about passwords - for the phone, for mail, applications, places where assets are stored... Unfortunately, in a country like mine, as far as I know, a written will does not work at all, since by law, no matter what you want, your funds and property will be inherited by your direct relatives, unlike the situation in more civilized countries. So, writing my will while I'm alive doesn't make much sense, but I should still be able to arrange things like: do I want my organs to be donated or not, do I want to be buried or cremated? I've been meaning to do at least that for a long time, maybe it's really time. Nobody knows anything (and nobody has control over their life and destiny).
So, may fate be on your side now and may things work out and you get well!

Thank you for the lovely comment @soulsdetour what the doctors say my chances are is indeed something I was thinking about just the other night.
I have seen many say something like doctors gave them months to live but in the end they got many years of life. And so it's definitely something to consider and take with a grain of salt just like anything that comes out of a doctors mouth, I have found lately some of them to be truly uneducated in their own fields.
It's without doubt that death can come to anyone at any point in time, while I have some things sorted I was definitely panicking about other loose ends. I think the problem for many including myself is just finding the time for such things, but I guess this must be worked on.
Yes I believe that is how the law works there, some other countries in the EU have the exact same laws you have there which can make things tricky in dealing with certain family affairs.
Thank you for the getting well wishes, it's actually been one of my better days so far, and I hope to continue going down that path.

Honestly, I was waiting for you to answer with some trepidation. The very fact that you are not posting every day, as it has been so far, shows a lot, but I am glad that you are feeling better! Fingers crossed that it continues like this and better with each passing day!
I have already learned to sift through the statements of doctors. There is something inside us that knows well what is true and what is not, better even than the opinions of "professionals", who often contradict each other. And you are right, some are very uneducated in their field, which is funny, and it is a matter of luck to come across a really good doctor who knows what he is doing and how to do it.
The truth is, no one feels like thinking about these things while they're alive. Especially not while they're healthy. That's why we tend to put it off and put it off... until a certain point.
Well, maybe our time hasn't come yet, maybe we still have time... who knows...

That is the way most people would answer, I either believe I can get through this still or it's because you caught me on my "better" day, both might be true.
It really does, I have always done my best to post daily but this infection is really taking a hit on me.

While I think your right, it can sometimes be for many difficult to see through the recommendations of doctors, after all they are suppose to be the smart ones who will heal us. I fear so much for the people who put all their faith and health in the hands of such people. I have lost count on the number of times I have heard doctors contradict each other, thought science was suppose to be thoroughly investigated🤷♂️.
Getting a good doctor does seem to be very much a luck of the draw, which is why I unfortunately will have to continue fighting just for them to listen to me and take me seriously, to actually do their job in figuring out what this is in order to finally treat me correctly.
I still can't believe in this day and age it's something down to the patient to get done, rather than the person who is getting paid a good salary to do so.
A lot of people do seem to put it off, for such preparations, and I think this comes often from fear. I'm honestly shocked by how so many people completely avoid the topic of death in any form all together.
