Daily Steem Price Update 5/10/2024
Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.
There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.
I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to reading some articles about local crime. We are honestly living in a mad world full of people for whatever reason wanting to kill others, very sad. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, I think by that time I was just too tired to let any stress bother me. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me improve my sleeping routine. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired as usually I'm not going to sleep early enough. This is what happened last night but I think sleeping past the alarm will be slowly happening anyway because of that winter cold coming, but this morning like yesterday I rested for way too long. As for the weather this morning after a whole week of it being dark and cloudy we may finally have a break with a beautiful clear sky and lots of sunshine for the weekend. Temperature wise it was comfortable but just about, my hope was that the sunshine will later warm us up a bit. I only had to be in work later but this is only for a small meeting which will also likely happened tomorrow and so this gave me time to get some chores done during the morning. I also received some sudden news that my father will be coming down to visit me for about 1 week, he arrives this afternoon which only gave me 2 days to prepare. This as put me under stress to get all that I can ready for his visit, with very limited time to prepare due to work. This is all very bad timing for me "also due to work" because of the sudden shutdown of my floor, it seems I will be moving back into the slightly more financial side of the business which I hated to begin with and why I moved away from it in the first place. The move will require me to study some of the financial side of things which I always had trouble with as this company makes it all extra complicated for no reason. I been enjoying my free time during the holidays but now suddenly I feel that it's all going a bit over-board, but I need to work and start earning some much needed money to combat all the costs of birthdays and events all happening this October. So I got on with a few chores most of which this morning is all preparations for my father arriving this afternoon. I done what I could with the late start and with my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I forgot to take anymore rubbish with me, but I was in a hurry so that I could still visit the super market before work. The reason for this is because after work I was going to the cinema with a friend. By the time the movie ends my father should already be home. Everything was a rush today which fits my fathers style, there were so many people in the super market just walking around like zombies that I'm surprised it didn't irritate me. Once the first work meeting finished I had to rush to the cinema with a friend. I asked the lady at the counter if it was still possible to catch the movie that was showing now and she gladly got us seats. I actually didn't expect anybody to be there but was surprised to see people still coming in after me. With the movie finished we got a little distracted and I had to hurry home if I was to catch my friends online. I heard from work they hired some more people for Christmas, and due to my floor closing down it was to no surprise that only 3 extra people were hired. That's so little considering a few years ago you'd have nearly 10 or more people being hired. On the way home I was very surprised to see it was still sunny outside, however even with the sun it was relatively cold out. When I got home I was surprised to discover my father had not arrived yet, eventually I tried to contact him but hear nothing. While worried it was very much possible he was still making he's way here. And yes about 40 minutes later he turned up where he had apparently made a wrong turn. I still managed to get online with friends but none of them turned up, which they told me later they didn't think I was going to make it especially with the arrival of my father. As for the quick work-outs it's now been 7 missed days, and I don't think I will be able to get any done now until my father leaves. Lastly I started to prepared dinner and after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 there seemed to be some issues with it for 3 days with it's servers, perhaps they are doing updates but I think this may of now been fixed. Like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
