Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 25/7/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

July 2025- Hello supporters of Steem, I was really hoping to be feeling better by today but that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't think I have got any worse but don't think I seem to be going anywhere now which is very frustrating. Anyway focusing on another topic that I like which is animals, while you mostly know I like dogs and cats I'm also interested in the well-being of other creatures. I have talked bout the New Zealand beloved chicken sized Kiwi birds before. I mentioned that these long-beaked kiwi birds have been in great danger of extinction for a long time now. There were only around 50,000 kiwi birds left on our planet over a decade ago and that number had continued to fall rather quickly. It was said that the population had declined by 99% in just the past 80 years alone. If this continued at this rate there would be little doubt they would be yet another creature on the "wiped out of existence list" before we even know it. Thankfully this bird's gentle nature is mostly cherished in the country they call home "New Zealand" and the folks over there continue to be on a mission to keep their kiwi bird safe. It's said the kiwi is a 65 million year old species, they can lay close to around 100 eggs in their lifespan. But what surprised me the most about these Kiwi birds is they can can live up to 50 years! Now you would think that with those impressive numbers keeping them around shouldn't be a problem. But things like humans forcing huge habitat loss on them a-long with predation by other newly introduced mammals like dogs, ferrets and stoats to these areas is making things rather difficult for the Kiwis to survive. At least the good news from my understanding is that in the past 4 years alone there was a increase of 7000 brown kiwi birds. And so bringing totals between 68000 to 70000. However without predatory control and other methods it's likely this could still easily fall back on all it's progress so far. And so the mission to stop their extinction still continues on strong today, spreading the word and knowing about the Kiwi can help in the fight to save them.
