Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 22/5/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

May 2025- Bitcoin reached over "110.000" on May 22th the bull run is on, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly there was not a lot of movement from our own token this season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also from being tired of the previous early work shifts. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, finally after 4 consecutive days of losing just over 1 hour of sleep to due getting up earlier for no reason. Sure the cat alarm clock was not in last night but neither was he home for the other 3 nights and I still woke me up, usually perhaps because of the cold. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning it was no different. For the weather it was bright, the sky was mostly clear, temperature wise it was chilly. It's a early start because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With no free time I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose. Finally the bins were both clear of rubbish and the workers, good because I was almost running late. It was nice to see the morning was full of sunshine unlike yesterday where it rained a lot. When I got to work it was the fat superior who I would be working with, that's exactly who I expected it to be and so was glad it was him. I think it would actually be a better idea if each superior took a turn on doing the early shift every two consecutive days rather than a daily rotation. Our colleague who sets up task2 had already arrived, and the fat superior waited for me before he got started with him to set up task2 for me. Still because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes up to 4 on Sundays. I was happy to see how little work there was for task1, sure I think a tiny bit got added while I worked, but no big deal I was still finished with it early. Task2 was more than usual but seemed like it was easy to deal with, while I finished it earlier it was not by much. This is like now the 3rd time that task3 as been more work than I would want to deal it, and today it was over the usual amount. This is very annoying because it keeps preventing me from being able to catch-up with the weekly tasks. I took a look at the weekly task sheet, my name is on it 4 times which I'm not happy about, but at least the tasks are mostly easy. And while I say that, yet because of how it's been this week I'm struggling to get any of it done. Well I had half of them completed by yesterday and had 2 more which I had to get done today, getting those completed a long with the regular work kept me busy for the remaining time I had left. I can say it was a good shift, but the regular work kept me too busy that I failed to get the last task completed, I needed the break as it just wouldn't stop, so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. Outside the weather had gone backwards, usually the days begins cloudy and improves later, however this time it was nice and sunny and turned cloudy. Still it wasn't cold so I decided to still go for the longer way home in hope of getting the fresh air and exercise. Once I arrived home I got started with some of the main daily chores. I continue organising the photos moved from my phone to the computer into two separate groups. I done a bit of this the previous day "I try to get some done daily". I was wrong about this being a rather quick task and so I will need the free time to dedicate to it. I took a nap again today which I was not expecting to happen, I only managed to sleep for around 1 hour but it helped me get through the rest of the day. I received a phone call from a friend who was having trouble understanding their gas bill and why they have suddenly had to pay so much more money, I think together we may have worked out what was the problem. Without that taking up too much time I was able to continue organising everybody for the event this weekend which I will do most of the remaining things tomorrow. For the quick workouts I missed getting one done today which now makes 6 days without, which was expected since I had napped. Last time I pushed myself a little more and so far I don't think I have caused any damage. For the moment I feel fine without ache and it felt great. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. While the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards is very positive I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
