Daily Steem Price Update 16/8/2025
Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/8/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.
There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.
I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Aug 2025- Hello Steem supporters, managed to get out the post today likely because I had the opportunity to rest a lot. Unfortunately getting much rest doesn't seem to do much for combating this horrid chest infection. However when I did finally decide to get started for the day my anger and frustration towards all this sickness gave me the strength that I needed to deal with my medical chores first thing. This was mostly getting set-up with blood work in hope these incompetent doctors can identify the problem for the treatment " that I actually need" rather than just guessing and so destroying the body with random antibiotics. It makes me so mad that I have to look into all this myself rather than leaving it in the hands of so called professionals who suppose to know best how to give you the so called "right and best" treatment. Gone are the days where after seeing the doctor they will promptly set-up your test appointments. It seems like the medical world as turned very digital and now doctors hide behind many walls. It's now down to individuals to set-up online accounts even to get tests booked. This for the older generation is a complete nightmare and it's no wonder they are struggling to get the care they need. The robots working at the desks always say the same thing "there are no appointments left today" this is even when the place is nearly empty!? So they direct you to making your appointments from your home, this now involves setting up various accounts and agreeing for all these cooperation's to have excess to your medical and digital information. When you think about it this is a gateway we must cross to supposedly reach better care, but not without the cooperation's bagging and tagging you. It's all very smart but still rather poor in it actually being of any real use to finding you the best care, securing those "doctor appointments" or supposedly being "the quickest way" as they like to claim. It would be much faster if during your appointment the doctors would just set up the next step for you. Yes like in the old days, rather than having to go through hoops yourself in setting-up accounts, passwords, proving who you are, learning the websites appointment system and then hopefully getting a slot that suits you. Anyway I got this nonsense out of the way bagging myself luckily a appointment a day later than ideal, I'm not happy about that but the alternative was like a week later and honestly I'm already tired of all this and I'm likely still in the early stages of this battle. For the rest of the day I was able to take things easy, my heart felt a little better compared to yesterday which made for a slightly easier time. However considering all the rest I had the fatigue was still very strong forcing me to rest for most of the afternoon. I'm not going to deny that the mostly constant feeling of fatigue makes getting anything done in the day difficult. Strangely even in pain time passes by fast in what feels like very sort days. But gone are the days where you could simply walk up to a desk at your doctors place and book a appointment. Phone them instead.. yes but there's no point even trying to phone them. It seems no matter what time of day you call the dam phones they are always packed with people trying to get seen. Strangely at the desks when I'm actually present I don't see many calls coming in, something really doesn't add up. I'm struggling to understand this system that is suppose to be there to help you, and care for you in a time of need. It's tough for me to handle getting any worse again and so when this happens it often starts sending my body into a panic which in turn makes me worse. It's now been a good few days since I have had any actual improvement which is not only frustrating buy worrisome. Now think about the fact that hospitals are already being built in Asia that are staffed only by robots. I think that when the human element completely disappears, which they have tried to do in other ways so far, eradicating the humanity in doctors, things will become irreversibly ruthless.
I recently had to change my General Practitioner, or the Primary Care Physician, as it is called in the US, because I didn't get along at all with my previous doctor, for one reason or another. She was a good specialist, but a crazy woman, crazy with greed, and my communication with her was very complicated. The next option was to choose between: a good specialist, but an arrogant person, and a not so good specialist, but a very good person. Of course, I chose the second option, because humanity is what we have left as the most important thing in this life. And often the diagnoses and treatments of the so-called great specialists turn out to be wrong due to their arrogance and inhumanity.
Well, just today I was reading about how the population of the earth has increased too much, and this needs to be stopped or compensated for in some way. So do you still believe that the system is here to help you in need. As ugly as it sounds, there is logic in that.
Don't let yourself panic! This is one of the hardest, but also the most important things. When your spirit is broken, the body suffers even more and it is even harder for it to recover. Try to find some kind of distraction. I found it through music, even through contacting my favorite singer... all crazy things help in these difficult periods.
Isn't this chest infection actually some new сovid story? Have you been tested for this?
Now I remember that I have read stories about how local, indigenous tribes have some unusual methods of treatment, incomprehensible to modern medicine, but extremely effective. Don't you have such an opportunity around you?
