Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/4/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

March 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also from being tired of the previous early work shifts. I woke-up nearly 2 hours to my scheduled alarm, I'm not sure why but know at one point the cold disturbed me, it also took me a while to fall asleep likely because I went to sleep earlier. There was a cat alarm clock in the house but he didn't really disturb me, the cold had already done that. Out of the covers it was much colder than I expected. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning it was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was mostly cloudy, temperature wise it was too cold. It's a early start because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With no free time I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, for once I didn't run past the usual people, perhaps because I left a little earlier. It continued to quickly get brighter, enough that I was able to see the sun rise. When I got to work it was my least favourite superior who I would be working with, which I was not surprised by at all. This is because I knew she had returned from her holiday yesterday "started her shift way too early like usual" and had not done the morning shifts since, so surely it would be her turn. It makes me wonder what time she gets here for in the morning, she must really hate being at home with her family haha. I wondered also in what mood would she be in this morning, should I even bother saying hello, well I did and she replied so of course she's in a good mood being back at work haha. Our colleague who sets up task2 had finally arrived again before I did, which I found strange as I was there actually earlier than usual. Still because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 there was half of the usual amount of work, which I was glad to see after Monday being so terrible. This means I shouldn't have to rush the entire time, but if more gets added then maybe. I'm not sure if more had been added, but I think maybe there was a little added, no rushing except towards the end slightly which put me with 8 minutes spare. Checking over the system task2 was just over the usual amount, which I was hoping wouldn't be the case. With being on time I would likely not need to rush it, well except a little towards the end. Task2 was completed but going over 2 minutes of the allocated time, a much better result from yesterday. There was a few mistakes with task2 which were nothing to do with me and the superior very quickly dealt with it. I wasted not a moment going on to task3, looking over task3 it was under half of the usual amount of work. This means I shouldn't need to rush even after starting it late, task3 was completed with 14 minutes spare. I took a look at the weekly task sheet, and shocked to see my name is not on it. I wonder if they got annoyed that last week I barely done my weekly tasks and so they just decided not to give me any haha. But looking over the tasks it doesn't look like anybody else is chipping in to get them done either. So I worked on the usual with the remaining time I had left. I can say it was a good shift, except I don't like how this superior slowly get's me involved with the financial side, she's the only one that does it, still I was getting tired, and so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. When I got outside I hoped the weather had got warmer, but no. Once I arrived home I got started with some of the main daily chores. I started organising the photos moved from my phone to the computer into two separate groups. I done a bit of this which I think can be done rather quickly if I just had the time to dedicate to it. I would of had more time if I had not napped, this happened much earlier than usual and was for around 1 hour. Paid the rest of the bills, I done some prep for the online session with friends later. Which everybody turned up because my friends had just landed from their holiday, I was not sure if that was happening today or tomorrow. For the quick work-outs it's been 123 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep on waiting longer. Lastly I started to prepare dinner a lasagna which I have not had in forever, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. While the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards is very positive I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
