Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 16/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, but I'm not napping during the day anymore which is great, however it's still best to strive for a healthy amount of sleep. There have only been 2 nights where I went to sleep at the most optimal time since doing these early shifts. When I did try to sleep the cold made it initially a little difficult. I woke-up a few hours to my scheduled alarm, this was due to trouble regulating my temperature regardless of trying a bunch of things. I have got fed up again with this happening, and so I will be removing some bedding per night until this stops happening. Our "cat alarm clock" as mostly been sleeping indoors during the night and will usually be quiet at night until lately. He as began mewing during the night again, this is almost similar to when he initially stayed with us which he was being very loud. This is not great due to these early morning shifts, he protests during the night for not being allowed out during the day but at least last night he did not disturb me. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold from the beginning. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was cold again this time it was mostly the wind, traffic was deserted and it was great. When I got to work it was our newest superior who was in, likely this was her first day returning since taking a week off and sometimes these superiors can be a bit moody on their return. I always dread her the most and really shouldn't do because she's still one of the better superiors we have had when looking back. I'm surprised with getting there a little earlier but I was still not seeing our colleague for setting us up with task2. Usually they are always there before me but I prefer it this way as it gives the superiors more time to get the system running. I checked the fire doors and got started with task1, there was just over the usual amount. Normally this wouldn't worry me however today there will be a extra task and so I hope task2 will be modest. The work for task1 was a little more difficult than expected putting me already past my allocated time, but what really destroyed the work shift for me was when the superior said task2 was 3 times the usual size. What the heck.. I thought I misheard what she had said, and I had no idea as to why there would be so much work🤦‍♂️! Task2 was also being set late which was making the superior happy, for myself I was glad because I was still dealing with the first task. Even when task2 was set and ready to go I was still on the first one and honestly I was really expecting her to help with task2. But this was not the case, I done it myself and was really proud because I nearly was able to catch-up with the allocated time. I was just about 8 minutes past when task2 was completed and the superior must of been keeping a close eye because soon as it was completed she was already setting task4 for me. Yes so I guess task4 is more important than task3..? which I guess I can do after.. Unfortunately task4 burned up all my time and so I had to start my usual work while trying to get task4 completed. This was not a big problem because I was almost done with it, however what became the real problem was getting task3 completed. It was very difficult because I was trying to do the usual work along side it which for whatever reason today there was a lot. Getting task3 completed almost took me to the end of my shift and it's such as shame as last time it went so well, strangely again with this superior it just didn't, but I just hope she understands it was out of my control and I tried my best. I could only assume this still as something to do with Valentines Day but it's over now so I don't understand all the extra work. It seems Valentines Day is still very alive and strong regardless of peoples financial struggles. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done. I had one of course for the week but this I wanted to leave for another day, I was already over worked. Unfortunately the superior told another colleague to get my particular job done. This makes no sense because I could get it done tomorrow instead, it's not even something that needs to be done today or infact ever, just another pointless thing to have people doing something extra. Since my colleague will be doing he's task for today and mine I will see if tomorrow I can do one of he's tasks as a thank you. I can't say it was a good shift, the extra work from task2 really made it a difficult morning to deal with and so was a lot of the usual work, so I was very glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was brighter but unlike last time there was no sunshine, but still cold, so I hurried home. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, this headache that I had since yesterday was making it difficult. I wanted to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the walls. Also I still need to send in the dates I want off to work so that I can go to the event with friends coming in a few months time. Unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things especially since having the headache. I went for a rest it wasn't exactly a nap and after I received a message from friends about coming online so I did. For the quick work-outs it's been 73 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators for February arrived the winners were announced. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
