Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 13/7/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

July 2025- Hello supporters of Steem, I had a rare 3 day occurrence where I missed out on posting these price updates. The reason for missing on those days is because I was very unwell, I'm still there and continue recovering. It's not been easy, I got real tired of all this fighting to get better and all the monitoring of symptoms, so I decided I was going to ignore all the pains and just try to have a bit of a normal day. Doing this helped me lower my stress levels and so perhaps aiding me on my recovery. I have also a powder to consume for the next few days in hopes that it will help me clear things up. I was not too hopeful it would work but maybe that is what is making me feel better or a combination of the powder and the lower stress levels. As for the problem it looks like I may of developed some kind of liver or kidney infection. It's been a scary few days, I felt so unwell on the first day that I thought I was leaving this earth. I don't think this is the first time I have developed this infection, well that is if diagnosis is correct. At least the following day I felt a lot better and on day4 I regained some strength and I was able to start posting again on Steemit. Initially most days after usually brought with them their challenges which tried to prevent me from posting. However now it's became almost normal again it terms of getting a post out daily. But today was a bit of a step back or at least initially when it came to my recovery as some of the chest pains returned. This step back could of been due to the lack of sleep last night. It was really difficult to sleep due to the heat, I'm sure I keep getting more trouble handling the heat as I get older. I did say I was worried that with the heat arriving again while I'm still unwell and trying to recover that it could set me back again. But I do worry for the cats, they have not been the same since the last heat wave. I think there is the possibility that we might lose another one or even a few of them as I think our most recent loss could of been blamed substantially on the heat. Since I was having so much trouble with the heat last night and one of our cats is basically on her death bed I didn't expect her to be around by the morning. Thankfully "and I don't know how" but she made it to another day. While I would like of course to get a air conditioner for myself, having one would also benefit our vulnerable cats which would honestly take priority. So if anybody fancies to drop any spare extra or large upvotes to help us and them get there quicker that would be great. For this morning I was shocked to see it was a cloudy cool morning, because we are forecasted basically the exact same weather as yesterday. While I got very little sleep last night it was nice to make my way into work on a slightly cool morning. I was working with my boss this morning which I did not expect, I actually thought it would be my least favourite superior. But she is on holiday for the moment, confirmed by 2 people and honestly it's been a little more relaxing around work. Still I have given up lately on thinking that during shifts with my boss things will be any easier. I was dreading this shift but the weather was on my side. Well "somewhat true" however this was kind of strange to gauge because I think my boss combined task1 and task3 together. Either that or maybe the system does so on Sunday's automatically, I'm not sure. I guess if I separated the work of task1 and task3 they were both just about reasonable. However this placed me behind on getting task2 done which started to worry me. But thankfully task2 continued to be like it's been on most days which is relatively easy to deal with. Being a Sunday there is that annoying extra task4 to get done. It was strange because as I asked my boss for it and he seemed confused about it, he then kind of started trying to deviate from it by saying the system doesn't always load task4 correctly on Sundays. Is this a thing now..? where we don't bother with task4? Hmm interesting. Regardless he managed to fetch me the work for task4 and that kept me busy for most of my time there. When I did completed it I took a look at the weekly task sheet and couldn't fully understand what they wanted me to do. So I done the part that I could and it was only when my colleague came in who understood it straight away and explained it to me. But still he thought it was a silly thing to have me doing. When I got out of work it was definitely warmer compared to this morning but still kind of cloudy. So I took the longer way home to enjoy some of that weather, the sun was much stronger than I expected so I was a little worried as I'm still trying to get better and was already set back today. I actually started to feel better once I was out of work. This sounds like a improvement but it's been difficult to tell because everything I experience just keeps going and then returning , then going again and returning. The fact remains this hasn't gone away yet, and that's the tricky part, it lingers which means it could at any point start over again 💀 which is scary, and of course coming to terms that such a condition can be fatal🤷‍♂️. I was going to meet with friends online but it remains too hot. I continue to take things easy for now in hopes of recovering and I do think I'm getting there now maybe even in 2 more days, fingers crossed 🤞🙏.
