Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 1/8/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Aug 2025- Hello supporters of Steem, there was a rare 3 day occurrence where I missed out on posting these price updates. The reason for this I was very unwell, I'm still recovering, well trying to. Every time when it seems like I'm about to get better I get kicked back down again. It's not been easy, it looks like I may have developed some kind kidney infection. Infact going to the hospital the doctors don't actually know what exactly it is that is causing the infection. Which had me very disappointed and slightly surprised when considering the technology we have available today. However from what I'm seeing if your rich there are other tests that can be made to potentially identify the problem. It's been a scary few weeks, there's been a lot of a back and forth type of thing going on with this infection, even with starting now the third treatment. The first treatment only helped slightly which was the powdered one, I feel the 2nd treatment helped me the most, taking me just over half of the way to recovering, but I always felt it wasn't getting to the root of the problem. Now for the third.. well I'm about half way through it already and not seeing much difference. It's difficult to explain but I feel like it may have helped with some of the pain but either highlighted others or perhaps even causing other pains to surface. Unfortunately I never had much faith in it but continue to hope the next capsule will get me there. I'm not feeling much different perhaps even slight worse. I was really hoping to be better today, but it was actually a very stressing one. Thankfully the past few days it's been cooler compared to the heat wave we had at the beginning of summer. For the weather it was again a relatively cloudy one, it rained but it still remains at a good temperature. This morning I was working with my least favourite superior, totally expected after the previous 2 morning working with the newest one. Was really not in the mood for any of her nonsense this morning, but to no surprise it was a difficult shift but not because of her personally. I started with task1 and was shocked to see the amount, it was a lot but no surprise there when it's one of her shifts. Still in one way I didn't care for the amount, I have my health issues to worry about and so just done the best I could. This was difficult towards the end as I struggled keeping my emotions in control, mostly due to this illness and some stress from the work. It took me a few wasted minutes but I was able to finally finish task1. Task2 always seems to be the saviour lately, being minimal and thankfully today it was the same. This was needed as I also struggled with emotions during the beginning of task2. Task3 was not even started today because to make things even better there was once again all the dam extra work left over from yesterday 😡🤬. Looking at the task sheet for this week which was definitely not going to be empty, since the previous week nobody had written any tasks for it. And so to no surprise this week it's of course over-flowing with pointless things! And like in typical fashion it mostly contains all the usual names, including myself for "all the days" that I'm on shift. Even in some places containing 2 tasks per-day which is delusional. Still for the rest of my time there I worked on getting the extra work from yesterday done and honestly what a lot of stress that was to deal with. I was sure that after today I was going to be tons worse due to all the stress and emotions. When I got out of work I went for the longer way home, I guess with hope that it would make me feel better. However this was a bad idea as I must avoid the sun due to the treatment I'm taking, and of course at this moment the sun decided to show up. When I arrived home it didn't take too long for me to feel tired, I tried to rest and ended up napping for a few hours exhausted. My hope was that this done me some good. It's been often said online that sometimes doctors just don't know how to resolve this issue and so you have to keep trying everything. This means trying lots of different antibiotics and so likely destroying your body in the process only for the next bad thing to get you next time... At this stage you either die or remain broken for the rest of your life. Continuing on with this 3rd treatment I'm not feeling any improvement, I actually think it's been worse overall since starting it. I'm really hoping the medication fully helps me soon🙏🤞. The fact remains this hasn't gone away yet, and that's the tricky part, it lingers which means it could at any point start over again 💀 which is scary. So I continued to take things easy for now in hopes of recovering, fingers crossed 🤞🙏. Hope you all have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.
