💣💣SCANDAL Steem Auto-Comment EXPLOIT UNVEILED - 80.000SBD since HF19 🔥 🔥
80.000SBD burnt in 37 days
💣Good Morning💣🔥
Dear Steemians,
My mission is to treat the mental sickness. I have found in this place plenty of delusional individuals talking to themself.
Through psychoanalysis I have determined the root cause. My diagnose: Multiple-Personality Disorder.
Many of my Steemian patients do not only talk to themselves, but they also vote themselves in their own commentaries.
My recommended treatment is: 500mg of downvote per day.
Note: please be aware Multiple-Personality Disorder creates an Ego separation, manifesting in the patient having not only a double account, but also commeting and voting himself with separated "Personas"
UPDATE: Proof of Data Quality
No member involved in the exploit has yet complaint about the integrity of the list. If eventually happens, a contundent and specific response supported by raw blockchain data will be provided.
UPDATE2: Example of Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Yours Sincerely,
Sigmund Freud
You should find out how many SBD those people (including me) gave to other authors and newcomers and how many new people they bring on steemit. Make a post about that too. I will upvote my comment because I'm not suporting witch hunt. You can downvote my comment if you wish.
This is not a witch hunt, it's investigative analysis. However I would encourage @sigmundfreud to make sure they are providing the appropriate context for data. Data is not truth, and interpretation is required.
It's not surprising you defend self voting, as you are one of the people benefiting most from it, recently anyway. I have recorded $114.195 of self votes for @oldtimer on Tuesday 25th July, and they were the top 5 valued self voted comments of the day after @adsactly, and you were the overall top self voter for this day.
During the last week these comments ranked in the top 20 self voted comments across the entire platform.
Between 19th and 25th July you rank 4th overall in rewards for self voted comments.
More info at the #project-smackdown weekly report for week 2.
well i know oldtimer votes for other people as well. Anyways I hear what you are trying to do but I don't think it's going to work. If I can invested 10,000s or even $1000s I wouldn't mind upvoting myself. Here's a tip for being here for so long. I have a problem when people comment, self upvote without even upvoting your blog. That's chutzpah!
You are delirious.
If you say so Sherlock, then I must be.
Well said.
You can find yourself ranked 9th overall self voter from the last week with $67.163 total pending rewards for comment self votes. See my comment to @oldtimer to see the chart.
Edit: adding a chart of your self voting between 19th and 25th July inclusive
You were a top comment self voter on 5 of 7 days, and the 3rd highest on the 25th. Your rewards are not as high as some others but you are consistent.
I am sorry if my self- votes offend you and others. Your investigative work is impressive. Let me explain my reasons for self-voting. First and foremost, myself and many other users self-vote because they can and it is allowed here at Steemit. Secondly, i have invested a lot of my hard earned money in this platform because i really believe it has big potential to compete with other similar sites. It also helps many people from poor countries supplement their income through their blogs. I consider that if i have the chance to enhance my investment in Steemit /Steem by self-voting then i am silly not to do it, especially if it is totally "legal" to do so. Having said all this, i do also give back to other users too. I also actively promote Steemit to my friends here in my Country. It would be a real shame for this whole self-voting issue to degenerate into some sort of quasi- war between two sides who are arguing over it, that would have negative implications for all Steemit users. You are perfectly entitled to voice your opinion over the issue, but really, i would politely ask you leave the mechanics of voting to those who get to make the rules on the platform. I am sure they have thought of this issue and the fact that we can still self-vote means that they think it's ok to do so. Please don't escalate this issue into a larger crusade, i think that would be a great pity. Don't fall into the trap of the old " divide and conquer" trick. Let's keep enjoying this platform together shall we ? I would much rather have more friends here.
You ask other user to leave this to "those that get to make rules on the platform", but those, my friend, are us. Anyone can suggest a change to how Steem operates and all serious investors know this.
Most Steem Coop members (the above post is not by a member) who support Project Smackdown can be considered senior members and have put in a lot of time thinking over these issues. We're presenting data in order to bring attention to and criticize the way that the system currently works, so that we may come up with possible changes, not inciting a war.
Well thankyou for explaining that. However please do understand that some members may feel threatened by the anti self-vote people and , and everyone should be able to enjoy the platform without feeling like they have people watching over their shoulders. Until the self-voting issue is solved by changing the way the system works, i would kindly ask you to just let Steemit users enjoy the platform and contribute good posts, as it is meant to be.
Thanks for your comments @ctrl-alt-nwo
We make every effort to explain our perspective on this in our posts, it is not to bully or threaten, we are using the stake available to us to disagree with self voting only. Of course enjoy the platform but realize it is a dynamic market system with real rewards at stake.
I would also make the point that though I accept that what is possible on the blockchain is "legal", we do not have use everything available to us. That is exactly what down voting / flagging is for, negotiating social behavior, which is "above" the blockchain, so to speak.
People are watching over all our shoulders, everything is public here, which is very different from Facebook for example. Transparency and oversight comes with the territory. If you are engaging in conspicuous self rewarding I would not be surprised if others to notice that.
I am a big boy, i can take criticism. I was only thinking of others when i made the point that some people may feel threatened when they self-vote. Cheers.
The current members of Steem Coop (which again, did not produce the above post) do not threaten anyone and are not even touching users posts.
We only use our own voting power, which is in our right, to downvote away what we consider to be excessive reward from comments that were selfvoted.
Noone is looking over anyones shoulder more than before.
All information is 100% public on Steem.
Without us publishing data and actively working against the issue we see, there will be no conversation and no change. So our work will continue.
The thing is, the more people self-vote, the less other people can enjoy the platform.
Self-voting might look like enjoyment in the short-term, but the only way this platform can grow is if content creators are happy and attract more people to it (including potentially new investors). Any self-vote removes that potential and is not beneficial in any way to the platform.
Self-voting is allowed in the system and currently financially much more attractive than voting on others. That is a problem that really needs to be solved.
Sorry to say that i disagree. There are a group of people that hold the "joystick" of control. I just hope that those group of people that have the joystick use their power responsibly.

Nice list! big ol' upvote and a follow for you, sir.
Great work, but I have to say that the numbers seem quite high compared with a sample of my own.
Can you please share the code you use to generate this, or at least the methodology with some examples? It would go to further your credibility since this is clearly an alt account by a more experienced user.
My method is the psychoanalisis.
Best proof of my results quality: No one in the list is complaining about the numbers.
That is a disappointing response 😕 what you cite as proof is not even close, and in fact is the argument from ignorance.
But at least some users are commenting here and we're getting into a discussion.
Thanks for doing this, we gotta plug the holes in the steem engine! It's a big debate about self upvotes, but 80,000 aint no joke.
If it continues to be a problem, a crowd funded bot that flags self votes might be the way to handle it.
See @smackdown.kitty and please use the Vessel wallet by @jesta to delegate SP to it =)
(The bot is operated by members of #steem-coop who are not the originators of the above post)
This doesn't belong in #steemdev unless you write on how you extracted the data.
Welcome to Steem @sigmundfreud I have upvoted and sent you a tip
Thank you for sharing this info, and thumbs up and the great job done here
You're welcome son
